Vikas Laul was and is the main man for onboard Trials. He was the engineer on the Seago Istanbul in charge of the POC and LONO for Maersk. He developed the fuel delivery system that Maersk tried to patent but failed. He has since left Maersk, started his own very successful business and will be very much at the business end of the MSC trial.

My primary project is a major innovation project with the purpose to test and qualify a new fuel called MSAR. The project involves a core team of Maersk specialists and business developers as well as several 3rd party partners and suppliers. The project stretches all the way from the laboratory where the fuel is invented, over the refinery producing the fuel, and into the engine room of the designated test vessel. It is considered a major achievement beyond comparison that the seaboard trial is progressing well since summer 2016.

2020 saw the regulation change such that HFO had to have a sulphur content no greater than 0.5. Before that IMO regulation came in HFO’ sulphur content was 3.5. Come Jan 1st 2020 any vessel without a scrubber had to burn compliant fuel. VLSFO had a sulphur content of .5 or less and it is this fuel along with MGO or Diesel for inside ECA’s that Maersk incorrectly chose. Now I’m no expert but just a little research of your own would have told you that

Solvent is part of the oil recovery process, this solvent is recoverable from the finished product for re-use, however to get the bitumin to market, part of the recoverable solvent has to be left in the bitumin in order that it flows into the truck and further into the refinery. Is this correct

InstantExpert. A little research will inform you that Quadrise can still produce at the Cepsa San Roque Refinery as they can at any refinery or terminal with sufficient feedstock, all that is needed is a MMU in situ.
The trial stats have not yet been disclosed but waiting for this disclosure is why I'm invested, if you are going to invest I suggest you do a little of your own research then you only have yourself to blame if your investment goes tits up.

16 weeks at 24 hours a day at sea, that’s over half way into the Lono for the Uinta bitumin, that Steve Byle is some smart cookie.

The test will in my opinion comprise all variations of MSAR, Marine, Power and transportation to refinery, QFI have states the POSP sales oil is of the quality for the MSAR process. All variations will give different end product pricing and allow Greenfield to include the figures in the final planning for the bigger plants financing, as production increases the bigger margins for the LS Marine fuel will be able to be achieved, after LONO of course.

Confirmation today that Quadrise is very much the solution to getting the POSP oil product to market.

The operation in Utah is part of a project that’s being advanced by the Greenfield Energy LLC joint venture company, which comprises Valkor LLC and TomCo. The pilot utilises a plant owned by Petroteq Energy and includes technology licenced from Quadrise Fuels International.

I did seek clarification on the matter from IR a few weeks ago but as yet, no reply. Will share if one comes through.

Quadrise is pleased to announce it has signed a Joint Development Agreement ("JDA") with MSC Shipmanagement Limited of Cyprus ("MSC"), a 100% subsidiary of MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA headquartered in Geneva, to carry out an MSAR® Operational Trial (the "Trial") on commercial container vessels in the MSC global fleet commencing in 2021 with, subject to further agreement, subsequent commercial rollout upon success. The MSC Group is one of the world's largest cargo shipping and cruise line companies.

To me it seems the next agreement will be for commercial rollout, this JDA covers up to commercial rollout and covers all Lono arrangements.

During Q2-Q3 calendar 2021, we will be working to procure the equipment for fuel production, and the vessel(s) fuel booster system(s) and to commence the process of preparing the vessel(s) and the fuel production site to enable the commencement of the LONO trial(s) in the second half of 2021.

It was anticipated that Maersk would adopt that strategy and rollout to their fleet would presume around the 2000 hrs mark to enable fuel supply logistics to be put in place ready for the LONO sign off, Cepsa at that time were only good for two MMU,s equating to a mere 700,000 tonnes per annum.
