I would expect an update on the Morocco trial in the coming week, Sparkle signing yesterday would point to a successful Morocco trial if only in part, that domino effect we have been waiting for, then we have Bernard overseeing the trial, he will want to be back in the UK for Christmas, then we have Younes' warrants which means we have to sign with a Mediterranean refiner, hopefully Cepsa, before year end. A week today is 30 days since AGM, lots more to come.

Another formulation blended B100 FAME with glycerine, water and our proprietary additives. This B100 biofuel is our first bioMSAR™ Zero commercial prototype:

50% B100 Marine fuel / Methyl Esters - 40% Glycerine - 10% water inc. additives

Both the B50 and B100 formulations showed substantial engine efficiency improvements of 7-10% compared to diesel in our 40kW Cummins 4S engine. Furthermore, bioMSAR™ ‘B50’ demonstrated up to 39% WtW CO2 reduction, and bioMSAR™ Zero ‘B100’ demonstrated 85% WTW CO2 reduction versus conventional fuel oils.

It is a continuous trial so if they start they will finish, what you are saying is you don't think it will start this year.

Getting Morocco done by year end has to be a priority, certainly for Younes. Bernard was at in Morocco at the time of the AGM, that trial should conclude before the Christmas break which triggers the Med. supply hub.

A second tranche of 12 million warrants will be awarded upon securing a refinery supply source for commercial quantities of MSAR® and the signature of a Commercial MSAR® Fuel Supply Agreement with OCP, by no later than 31 December 2024. On vesting, these warrants may be exercised at any time until 31 December 2025, at which point they expire (the "Conditional Warrants").

He has Asia, Morocco or Utah as known possible vocations at this time, Jason has in the last few hours liked up recent posts by lafayette on Linkedin. Nice to think he's sat in Utah sorting the final details on that $1,000,000.00 cheque for us.

I certainly get your point, Don, and there is nothing in the proposal to suggest Msar would be made there, just seems coincidental that Valkor would set up a site for oil production in the uinta basin that didn’t at some point include the Msar process. He’s looking for financial backing for the site which is what Jason alluded to at the AGM. Anyway I’m sure Steve is happy to have his fingers in many pies, time will tell and until then let’s hope for continued news flow.

Cleaner Refineries

One Answer to the Energy Transition

Canyon Energy is developing cleaner refineries in U.S. oil basins using new systems and technologies to displace aging, inefficient and high emission plants. We believe a rejuvination of the U.S. refining industry is needed to reduce unnecessary emissions and reconstruct the fragile core of our country's economic engine.

Our first refinery will be located on 400-acres in Utah, designed to produce 50% fuels (diesel and jet fuel) and 50% non-fuels, which includes industrial lube oils and refined wax that provide the products we need for everyday life.

This project considers crude sugar oil (CSOTM) as a fuel for internal combustion engines, specifically those that propel sea going vessels. CSOTM is produced from cellulose and a stable blend with fossil marine fuel is created through emulsfication. The SOL project aims to validate the technical and economic viability of this fuel source whilst also achieving a greater than 80% relative greenhouse gas (GHG) emission avoidance during the first ten years of operation compared to the reference scenario.

Vertoro is the supplier of sustainable biomass-based biofuels extracted from abundant agricultural and forestry residues using their proprietary Goldilocks® technology. GEM® is a crude lignin oil that's a potential alternative to methanol and is being developed in conjunction with Maersk and CSO™ is an advanced crude sugar oil that's a water soluble by-product of the Goldilocks® process. The total market for these lignin residues today is estimated to be around 200 billion tonnes per annum.

Under the JDA, the Company and Vertoro will collaborate in seeking to progress the use of Vertoro's CSO™ as a potential cost-effective supplement or alternative to glycerine in Quadrise's bioMSAR™ fuel. The JDA may also present opportunities for the Company to supply MSAR® blending technology at Vertoro's CSO™ plants or biorefineries under future agreements with Vertoro or Vertoro's partners.

‘Ahead of schedule’

Tom Fraine, an analyst for broker Shore Capital, which has Quadrise under coverage said: “[…] Quadrise confirmed positive engine testing results on new prototypes of its bioMSAR fuel, including the company’s first 100% biofuel. We see this confirmation as encouraging and continue to believe the company is ahead of schedule in working towards its goal of offering an entirely fossil-free fuel at commercial scale by 2030. This follows a series of encouraging updates from Quadrise since 22 November, which have helped drive a 128% increase in the share price. We are encouraged to see the momentum of positive news flow continuing.”
