MSAR®️ technology enables refineries to generate greater value from the bottom of the barrel by using modular, non-polluting, patented blending systems that can be installed in less than 12 months. This allows viscous refinery waste to be blended with small amounts of specialty chemicals and water to create emulsified HFO – releasing valuable distillates, otherwise degraded by their use as diluents to produce conventional HFO from waste, significantly improving refinery performance. How does MSAR®️ work? MSAR ®️ multiphase superfine atomized residue replaces diesel which makes up to 30% of HFO content with 29% water and 1% proprietary chemicals. This emulsion acts as a synthetic heavy fuel oil for ships and power plants that currently burn fuel oil, but is cleaner and more economical than standard HFO. Cheaper water replaces valuable diesel, lowering the price of HFO production, while that diesel can be released to the market at much higher prices. MSAR ®️ is a heavy oil that burns as a gas, substantially reducing emissions of NOx, particulate matter (including black carbon/soot), and greenhouse gases that severely impact air quality in Mexico’s largest cities. Leandra finally made it into Rotterdam this morning, she had a general cargo barge alongside this morning and at present has a inland tanker alongside, has to be a good chance that she’s having some form of bio fuel to get data before trialling our bio msar

She has just departed Antwerp heading for Rotterdam before heading for Bremerhaven which is the last European leg of her new schedule before heading to Mexico. She will be back at Antwerp, mid March and Mid April by which time I would hope we have a good idea of the trial schedule. Nice to see some movement of the trial equipment via LinkedIn soon.

2 more inland tankers on Leandra, so she is getting fully loaded by the look of it, one of the tankers came from the Mac2 terminal where our fuel will eventually be made. Pull your finger out Jason, get it done

She is taking bunkers at Antwerp now by inland tanker Sinjoor which came down from Rotterdam, hopefully in the not too distant future she will be bunkering Quadrise fuels which will in turn work wonders for our share price.

Project Agreement with MSC and Cargill

MAC2 have already received the required operating permits for installation of Quadrise equipment and have prepared the site. Following signature of the Project Agreement, final work to enable Quadrise equipment to be delivered to the MAC2 site can now be completed, enabling the Trials to commence before end Q1 2025.

In parallel, bilateral agreements, including a toll manufacturing agreement between Cargill and Quadrise in respect of fuel manufacture, can be finalised now that the outline commercial terms have been agreed in the Project Agreement.

She is parked up at Antwerp, not taken any bunkers as yet which is unusual, she heads to Rotterdam tomorrow for a short stay, I wonder weather she may take some form of bio fuel to get results from to compare to our Bio Msar when it is trialled.

Thanks crownos, It not something that needs paying for, if you go into schedules, point to point and put in port of arrival and port of destination it lists the ships taking that route over a period of time, obviously you can reverse the route also.

Just out of interest, Leandra will visit Rotterdam on both known occasions that she leaves Antwerp, isn't there money to be saved bunkering Bio fuels at Rotterdam.

Hi Cityfile, Leandra is showing as arriving in Antwerp on the 12th Feb, her schedule is changing slightly for the better for our trial as there are less stops and more hours spent travelling across the Atlantic. Antwerp to Mexico and return are still her routing and the latest time available at the moment is March 26th for an Antwerp arrival after the 12th Feb. seems a fair duration between visits so timings could easily change.

Leandra has just been re-scheduled to the NWC to Mexico Express, Antwerp and Bremerhaven in Europe and 2 stops in Mexico, so less stops and more time at sea for our trial. Just out of interest, once again the MSC Pilar VI has followed her to this service, she is running the Mann B&W engine, be good to see her fuel system upgrades the first on Auramarines service for Quadrise.

Leandra will be in Antwerp at the end of March, its not showing the April arrival at Antwerp yet but this has to be the date Quadrise would be looking at for early Q2 fuel supply.

The first phase of diesel engine testing by partners, Aquafuel, was performed on the Quadrise-owned 40kW Quadrise’s Cummins diesel engine using bioMSAR™ containing 18-20% CSO™ and 18-20% glycerine. Subsequent testing was then recently completed at Aquafuel using bioMSAR™ with 39% CSO™ content to replace the glycerine in bioMSAR™.

Testing of CSO™ bioMSAR™ when compared with conventional road diesel (ULSD) confirmed engine efficiency improvements of 7% resulting in reduced fuel consumption and lower carbon dioxide emissions, consistent with standard bioMSAR™ results.

They forgot to mention that their bitumen is solid and needs our technology to get it market.

The global shipping industry is shifting. IMO 2020 regulations capped sulfur content in marine fuels at 0.5%, with stricter 0.1% limits in Emission Control Areas (ECAs). As fleets seek compliant alternatives, Lafayette Energy Corp. is exploring a new use for our naturally low-sulfur bitumen: marine bunker fuel.

We had the pleasure of hosting the Auramarine Ltd team at QRF last week to discuss the next steps on our joint collaboration to provide immediate, low-carbon and low-cost technology solutions to help decarbonise the maritime sector.

It is Antwerp HF, they are using HFO instead of residue plus water and surfactant. HFO being much easier to transport than residue.

Looking at the MSC schedules, the Leandra has a slight change to her routing, still calling at Antwerp. The MSC Pilar Vi changed from extra vessels status to the route Leandra was on, NWC / Mexico, she hasn't started this routing yet but as Leandra has just changed her schedule, still Antwerp to USA the Pilar Vi is also changing to this route with Leandra, purely coincidental, she is the same size and age as Leandra but she is running the Mann B&W engine, be good to see the POC run on both engines for rollout of MSAR.

Q16 How would you describe the attitude of MSC towards the decarbonisation of their fleet and should they decide not to progress with the use of a Quadrise solution to help them transition towards that goal, which other shipping companies might be interested in adopting it?

Please refer to the latest MSC Sustainability Report, they are certainly committed to improving fleet efficiency and decarbonise. Per our presentation, we are in discussions with other shipping companies to join our project.

🚢NEWS: Starting February 1, Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd AG officially launch the Gemini Cooperation – a game-changing operational collaboration designed to create a more flexible and interconnected ocean network.

Our ambition is to deliver an ocean network with industry-leading schedule reliability above 90% once fully phased in. Around 340 vessels will be part of the network with the first sailings taking place already tomorrow, February 1, and more vessels will gradually sail on the new schedules.
