Valkor funding could easily be reliant on the outcome of QRF testing the samples, Valkor will find it near impossible to shift quantities of product without our tech, and of course there is the difference in prices by of the product if not upgraded to MSAR.

In the results RNS 30th September it states the equipment has been shipped to Morocco, the fuel is already on site so no customs issues there.

Younnes has until 31st December to get a fuel supply agreement in place which requires the trial to be completed so he will be pushing for a conclusion to the trial to get his 15 million shares.

The 5t per hour MMU used in the Morocco trial will be required for the Singapore refinery refuelling trial should it come off.

I believe Jason has stated that we will be updated at the end of the trial and not the start which is unfortunate.

Under the Commercial Framework Agreement ("CFA") signed in May 2024, a further paid-for trial was agreed to expand the opportunity for both OCP and Quadrise, as well as the process to progress commercial supply discussions for MSAR®. The Company is thus currently finalising preparations for a 30-day MSAR® trial at OCP's Jorf Lasfar site ('Jorf') whilst also completing the engineering studies necessary for commercial MSAR® use there. The MSAR® equipment has been shipped to site to prepare for the trial, which is scheduled to be completed in Q4 2024.

Quadrise has opened discussions with candidate suppliers for long-term commercial MSAR® production and delivery with a view to signing a term supply agreement following successful completion of the Jorf trial.

This approach was evident at the SIBCON2024 global shipping conference I attended in Singapore recently. SIBCON is the world’s largest marine bunkering conference, visited by all of the world’s major shipping companies, fuel suppliers and traders.

This year’s conference themed “Accelerating The Maritime Fuel Transition” highlighted the dramatic growth in biofuel use across the shipping sector, with sales having doubled annually during the last few years. 5 million tonnes of marine biofuel blends are now expected to be sold in 2024.

Rising demand for biofuels is driving the shipping sector to look at increasing the pool of sustainable feedstocks. At Quadrise, we are excited about our emulsion technology platform's potential to address this challenge.

Looks like Steve set this up in 2022, no wonder he wants to keep our tech to himself, he will make himself and us a fortune from the 15 other produces in the Uinta basin bringing him their product.

The funding that Valkor are waiting and dependant on will have a massive bearing on future output, once Steve Byle has the money in the bank then progress will be rapid, the success of the samples being tested at QRF to enable Valkor to sell at a premium the large volumes of oil expected must also be a pre condition of funds being released.

The HSO 2-4 well is currently producing, utilizing a downhole heater, and the operator, Valkor LLC, expects that production may stabilize at approximately 40 BOPD.

So with the well producing, it would be reasonable to suggest that in excess of 100 barrels of oil have been have been produced, so anytime now we should see Valkor receiving their additional funding.

Samples received and tested at QRF should be within this month with a good tailwind, upon success Valkor will pay Quadrise US$1.0 million under the terms of the Site License and Supply Agreement.

In order to decarbonise shipping, we need to act now.

This week, I joined maritime leaders at the UN's High-Level Ocean for the Future meeting to call for a regulatory framework that accelerates the adoption of net-zero fuels in shipping.

With net-zero fuels costing 2 to 5 times more than conventional options, we need IMO Member States to take bold action and close this price gap. The technology is ready, but scalable production and infrastructure remain a challenge.

At MSC, we are fully committed to net-zero decarbonisation by 2050, with 20 dual-fuel vessels already in service and over 100 dual-fuel LNG vessels on order. But achieving net-zero requires collaboration across governments, industries, and stakeholders.

The clock is ticking, and the maritime industry is at a critical crossroads! Global shipping cannot successfully transition without widespread alternatives to ship bunker fossil fuels. It's imperative that the International Maritime Organization and its member states agree on making green maritime fuels as affordable as fossil fuels.

Governments at the IMO have only 6 months to a reach consensus on effective measures that will make green energy projects bankable in the short term, and we urge them to make tangible progress at MEPC82 meeting taking place in just a few days. By doing so, they will enable cargo owners to reduce scope 3 emissions on time and move the sector forward. It is crucial that these measures will be finally adopted in 2025.
