I really don’t know your background but if you are a new investor suggest you take all views into account from as many different sources as you can and consider both the bull and bear case.
It is great to have sentiment providing a strong headwind behind a share but always consider the crosswinds that can slow down progress and always be prepared to change course if circumstances change.
My main advice to you would be to concentrate on the journey whilst keeping an eye on the destination rather than purely focusing on the end point.

Think you have picked up on something good AB re quality of investor as DE highlighted.However the size of their commitment with the size of their investment satisfies both quality and quantity and the removal of the F word the elephant in the room and their DD validation has changed sentiment as you say.

That will come but the conclusion from the research paper is the preparation in the 60-75 population subset will be very useful in preparing human challenge studies for REV and possibly Covid 19

A lot of my work has focused on increasing Zoonotic threats( diseases passed from animals to humans) and in vector borne diseases via mosquitos,ticks,etc but affecting animals.
I have been aware of many of these threats for a while and these “ pandemics” have affected animals quite a few times now but obviously now the main threat moving forward is in humans and Orph has an outstanding opportunity to help fight them

1.Would you trust a Russian Vax which has bypassed all the “ accelerated” Approval steps.
2.The US Moderna one is based on mRNA a new technology and again this Company has a history of over promising.
3.If anything the Covid landscape will continue to be in Human Challenge favour as various candidates try and accelerate their efforts to gain Approval.
If you know anything about the current Covid 19 Vax efforts you will know having a proven safe and effective Vax will take quite a while yet.
The early efforts concentrate on the Spike GP mainly so is mainly an AB response.Without a good T cell response any immunity will be likely short lived with poor memory response and not proven in the most vulnerable groups.
Imo it is only when we have 2nd generation Vax targeting both S,N and maybe even M protein that we will have anything like the cell mediated and humoral response necessary to work effectively.
The first of those is at least 12 months away.

There is always suspicion of any completely new poster whether positive or negative as you should never believe what anyone on a BB says as being absolute but if they have some sort of track record you can make a more informed opinion of where they may be coming from.

Burble also appreciate your point re providing cross protection which again was mentioned in the article and I presume is more likely with a more central protein rather than a surface GP again presumably as role in ABs Immune response is more key.

Thanks Burble really interesting and appreciate your exoertise from the human side as most of my experience is in Veterinary.
I always remember we did a diagnostic test for FIV based on GP 150 and from FeLV based on P27 and then latterly a FeLV Vax based on a similar approach to ChAd vector virus.
I remember speaking to Virologists and Vaccinologists who told me that you tend not to get long lasting effective immunity if you target the outer proteins or GPs like FIV as opposed to the more centralised proteins.
I know with HIV that is based on a GP so don’t know if that is a factor re not having an effective Vax as thought that was as much about stopping reversion to virulence.
Also as that is an envelope rather than gag does that influence effectiveness of any potential Vax or am I right in thinking that is not important but simply a descriptor term.
As you can se I am simply extrapolating my general awareness but if this validates the SCLP approach this is very good.
Hope this makes sense as you obviously know much more about the human side than I do.

Yes understandable and I know you claim not to understand the science and you may be being modest.
With these technical articles the best way is not to read the detail just the discussion but and then you can pick up salient points.
It says that Covid 19 Vax should target the Nucleocapsid N protein in addition to the Spike GP for a more effective immune response.
There are some other conclusions re memory response and immune response from mild vs severely effective patients but the implication for SCLP is the first bit.

Thanks Bermuda a really interesting article whIch I am surprised no one has really picked up on given the potential impact of the scientific findings for SCLP.
If I understand it correctly and it concurs with what virologists havevtold me in the past about the likely importance if more central proteins rather than the spike GPS.
It appears to say the Nucleocapsid N protein does in fact play a key role in T cell response particularly in relation to the memory response.
As most of the Covid 19 Vax are concentrating on the S protein and the AB response rather than the N protein and the SCLP approach is totally different.
The crucial bit from the article which I said am surprised no one has picked up on is the validation of the SCLP approach by saying future Covid 19 Vax would do well to target the N and M proteins and they may offer cross protection as well.

I know that some people will not take any Vax and that is their choice but I do think your figures of 60% are a bit misleading for the Flu Vax.
That is all about predicting the circulating antigenic strains in advance which determines how effective any given annual Vax will be.
So if they are accurate the efficacy’s will rise so it is not about the actual basic Vax bit the strains they put into it each year.
Obviously a universal flu Vax would sort out this issue and overcome these issues.
Furthermore there us much more herd immunity to flu and a degree of cross protection so the necessity to have such a high uptake is not so necessary in isolation but with co challenge of Covid 19 it will be more important this winter
