PS for clarification it was me that referred to Tosh as an “expert” but explicitly and specifically refers g to his CFDs operate and in connection with no other area.
FYI he worked as Head of a CFD Dept in the City for 30 years so may have had a particular insight when clarification was needed to rectify a misunderstanding.
I would not have replied fear of being accused of trying to stir up things but I will respond to clear ,is representation of my previous posts.

Any contribution that is not a copy and paste of someone else’s work is original.If you use other people’s work you should give them appropriate credit and reference.That is the protocol widely accepted in academic and scientific circles.
He can answer whether he has any articles peer reviewed or otherwise but that is not the point.His words carry weight imo as he understands the science which given his expert background is obvious.He explains it in a clear concise way so that a wider audience can assimilate and absorb it and make more informed decisions.
What stuff have I made up? I recall it was you that plagerised a PhD students thesis and tried to pass their work off as your own.
Honestly, why can’t you just accept that you should have referenced a copy and paste article and apologise to Burble.It really is quite simple but you always put in a hissy fit and overreact to a simple polite request.
Obviously many people here value your contribution on the science and may you long continue but imo we are very fortunate to have a qualified and experienced expert in this field in Burble who can provide counsel on the science.
Anyway if the reason why you bought in here was nothing to do with the money but simply to challenge yourself on the science as you claimed you should welcome the input of Burble as I am sure your thoughts would chime or you could have polite and robust discussions unless of course it is all about your ego being taken down a few pegs.

Burble made a very polite and respectful point so please show the same courtesy in return.
Every poster should know where the source is for any cut and paste so that they can judge for themselves the voracity and weighting of the information.
It also shows that no individual poster is trying to pass the work of as their own which would represent a totally reprehensible act imo for a whole host of reasons.
Research scientists are entitled to be given the credit for any contribution they make and of course many of these articles are peer reviewed which gives them some status.
You can tell Burbles contributions are original which gives them credibility in proving he understands what he saying rather than just copying and pasting others words which does not provide any evidence at all of any understanding.

Conference to be held.
On 15th October. On the latest agenda it states AVCT will present at 1300-1330 with a Senior Reoresentative so no name or title but is listed as Avacta Solution Provider Presentation.
This is a very important conference looking at calibration of speakers

Smp.You should never feel guilty as that is indicative of being too emotionally attached to a share which is never a good reason to trade or invest.
You can believe fully in what a Company are doing and of course like here many choose to invest In a Company they have a lot of confidence in and to me that makes a lot of sense.
However never be influenced by what anyone says about the timing of individual trades and the fact you made the trade first then told people is a very good sign imo.
You may have traded at the high of the day or it may turn out in hindsight that you wish you had held on.As I say each individual circumstance and decision is specific to ourselves so you have to do what you think it is right for you but after the recent big rise here at least you were in that position to take a healthy profit so well done.
Everyone on here should be very happy and leads to a much more harmonious board

Never regret any investment decision.By all means learn from it but always move on as without the benefit of hindsight none of us knows what decision is best for a specific individual.

P,ease do not misrepresent my posts.
The comment you highlight was specifically to do with the funding.
My post was exactly to counter the total lack of humility shown by the “Smart “ Folk.
All I did was agree with Bermuda that the really “ Smart” Folk were the new investors who had loaded up at the lows.It is the total arrogance of those initial remarks that I suggest you should aim your comments at.
My points really re my experience were to give a perspective on why I may see things differently from someone who does not have that experience but I certainly do not claim to be an expert far from it.
Again do not know why you continually refer to another share when the track record here before the last few weeks was pretty dire.How can I have cost people anything in another share as I never advise buying or selling again unlike certain posters here.
Plus in terms of obsession with being right well you dont have to look to far for that one according to your mate Leas.
But I am happy to counteract any arrogant claims as thatvuscsmethinggI feel strongly about.
As for the science I know as much as I need to make informed investment decisions and there are always experts like Burble to listen to and explain any extra bits in a clear way.

Just back from BBQ and AB you are right lots of big sells around the 6 to 6.5 mark so not too difficult to accumulate a big holding at that diet of average.
Basic maths you have a million shares with average of 6p and have someone else with 2m shares at 12p average.

Price reaches 12p first guy has 100% profit and 2nd is just breaking even.

Price reaches 24p first guy has 300%profit and 2nd guy has 100%.

You get my drift plus the huge opportunity cost of having a lot of money tied up for several years by the second guy whereas the first guy being smart is likely to have made a considerable return on his investment over those years.

If they bought the same amount as shares as you they would be much better off as they have a much lower average and much more exponential gains.

My agenda if I have one is like I suspect many others. Try and identify good opportunities like here.Buy as low as I can and sell as high as I can.
If you think I have any other agenda such as trying to appear negative then why would I possibly do that.
I have an exposure here I am happy with, am in profit.I would only buy more if the SP fell back to 7-8p so hope I am disappointed so my only view in giving my view is it is what I believe.
We simply don’t know what the exact issue with Trigid 2 was we were not told.We simply don’t know if the FDA was at fault,whether it was Ichor or whether SCLP did not get its act together.
If you recall the BoD were not totally open about the truth regarding applying for the IND in the US and certainly did not tell us about exactly when they became aware of the issue until I got clarification from SA at the AGM it was months earlier but again they did not tell us.
For the record the SP is up I am in profit so again don’t see how I have lost money as all the ones I sold in the 7s and 8s were bought lower.
Yes if I had not sold them and as others have said held them like many of the newbies the real ones who have gained I would have made more money.
However I decided to cash in much earlier,reduce my exposure and invest elsewhere and we all know how good AIM has been these last few months so draw your own conclusions.

Chester.Others have made valid points but your point about never being in business so don’t understand the challenges faced by SCLP is a nonsense.
As I said perhaps my expectations are just much higher than yours and every business has challenges but I have always worked for Company’s that thrive on challenges and it is the ability to overcome these that define those as being better than those that don’t.
Totally accept all the points about size of SCLP but don’t forget they stated the timelines which they did not stick to and hence the delays.

In 2015 RG said that SCLP ambition was to become a later stage drug development Company.That means progressing drugs into trials and generating data to enable the assets to be monetised.That ambition has been repeated on various occasions by the BoD.
I will take everything back I said and totally open to persuasion if anyone can provide any evidence of any drugs on any SCLP platform being advanced into the next stage of the Approval process by a patient being actually treated in order to generate data and monetise assets in the last 4 years.
That is what I mean by developing the science in a tangible way.
I know that processes and the drugs have been refined and improved and the IP protection has been enhanced.
But if anyone thinks that there is not a case for asking reasonable questions to the BoD for a clear lack of achieving their main priority in line of the question I have posed then we clearly just have different standards and expectations.
I can assure anyone that if the Research and Development Dept of any of the top 10 pharma I have worked for made that level of progress it would not be accepted .
Happily accept I am wrong but someone must provide evidence not opinion on genuine real advancement in terms of treating patients in official trials.
I do expect a great future here but I don’t have a rose tinted view of history.
