It surprises me that there has been no "COMMENTS" on the report. 26 pages on whats, buts, ifs and maybes. Please take on board that these are suggestions and are not binding. For the stupid among us, neither side have to accept these proposals. I would also urge that the less militant of us ( the absolute c&cksuckers, 4rselickers et al, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, DON'T YOU), listen to, or at least read, Terry Pullingers video regarding the report. If anybody here thinks this is over , it aint. Let's see RMG's stance after crimbo.

@ Arsenal. You always declare your sells, never your buys. It would appear by your trading disclosures that you are SUPERTRADER. I wish I was as good as you. Would you inform us mere mortals when you actually buy shares please?

@ soup. I've just seen the mediators report and the CWU thoughts on these suggestions. It also details where we were and where we are now, regarding previous RMG offers. Nothing at all has been concluded. It is actually quite an eye opener as to what still needs to be "agreed". It would appear though, that RMG have got what they wanted. No IA this side of Xmas.

@ mad - Pullinger seems very upbeat. The crucial thing is he mentioned that all members would be on one pension, WiNRS. Unless I'm missing something. 35 hour week still under discussion, with at least a reduction to 38 in the near future. I still think this will facilitate a much longer delivery span. All in all not bad. Just as well we didn't JUST ACCEPT what was originally offered, that was suggested by some on this board. Where would we be under there guidance.

While the CWU opinion seems positive, I await RMGs statement with trepidation. I have always believed they are only concerned about Xmas. I hope I'm wrong.

@ Jigger. Where it says complete, that means you have given them your instruction to buy the shares at 360p. The amount of shares you've bought will show in your nominee account. To sell these shares you have to go through the shareview dealing account, either online (which is useless) or by phone. You will need a reference number, which is being sent out to you, and is different to the reference number on your maturity statement. Hope that helps.

@ Soup. I believe Terry Pullinger will be giving a video update on mediation and the 4 pillars campaign after a meeting with the postal executive committee tomorrow. A lot of speculation around this �500 payment. That's it.

I logged on about 3.30. They were in my Nominee account with the choice of how to use the dividend. I chose DRIP.

@ PP.I'm not sure there was an actual price. I think you could've sold first thing this morning and the quoted price.

I heard that talks are close to resolution. Also, the 2 �100 Xmas payments are being replaced with �500 this year. This extra money includes part of this year's pay rise. So, in effect, it's ours anyway and taxable. Haven't heard anything about pensions, t's and c's, etc. I'm not sure how accurate this is, probably incorrect, so I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.

@ jonjo. I don't loathe management as you posted. Please produce evidence that I said that. Stating that I find some useless is totally different. @ jonjo. You really have no idea. In my office everyone bar 1 person is in the union. Half those people have been with the company for less than 5 years. As one fossil goes, it gets replaced with a much younger version. We realise the importance of being in a union. So carry on spouting your ill informed garbage. have agreed a new 3 year delivery contract underpinned by initiatives to deliver excellent customer service. RMG maintained their leading position in UK parcels, delivering more than all other competitors combined. RM tracked 24/48 and tracked returns grew by 38%. All delivered by militant dinosaurs. That should keep the shareholders happy. What will RMG's reason be now for the continued decimation of posties t & c's?

@ Soup. Latest communication snippets. Mediation process prevents both sides from disclosing details of the talks. Reps at all levels frustrated by the confidentiality of the process. Negotiators and PE cannot wait to afford us more detail. There has been movement and the mediators report due on the 30th should show that. jonjo - You're nitpicking. We don't negotiate through smoke signals any more. Understand sonny!!

@ jonjo. You quite clearly have not read my post. We have been negotiating for over 18 months. How long should these negotiations take, in your expert opinion? Unbelievable!! @ jonjo. Just because i'm prepared to strike does not mean I want to. You'd also be surprised how many members of the public realise that we may strike for a good reason. And as far as negotiating, we've been doing this for over 18 months. I believe that one of ACAS's former employees was involved in the talks. The earliest date we can strike is the 22nd. 2 weeks after the end of talks. There will no extension IMO.

Little or no change with the talks then. No surprise really. CWU are looking at possible IA before Xmas, hence the date 8th December and a 2 week notification process, If that is not achievable then asap after Xmas. It would seem the mediator is desperate for any IA to be after Xmas. Very odd.

RMG will attempt to string out talks for as long as possible to minimise, or have no, disruption at Xmas. Ask yourselves what happens after Xmas.Chinese whispers tell me "this lady ain't for turning". Unfortunately for "this lady", she ain't come across the good 'ol British postie. Nothing possible about IA. Unless RMG come up with something reasonable, it's a given. The markets take care of the share price. And I hope the dividend falls through the floor. After all, it is unsustainable, ain't it? I'm still waiting for the figures to back that up.
