You make no sense at all, so please take time to explain to me, what you mean.

You say: Reduce staff costs amongst other measures.Do you mean a reduction in wages for all staff? If you do, and these staff leave, who do you replace them with and how much do you pay them?

What are the other measures? Paying for your own toilet tissue, water, heating etc. A very vague statement, don't you agree?
So please elaborate.

You say: Repeatedly referenced being in discussions with big pharmas.
How else are VAL meant to get their compounds out there? Telepathy? Of course they've been in discussions.

You then follow up with: if that's not to encourage people to buy in to a situation they know full well will not come to fruition for a very long time, and then in between time, pay themselves very very handsomely thereby reducing available funds.
Are you suggesting that the BOD are being disingenuous purely for their own financial gain?

In my opinion, you, and many others like you have done your cash, for the simple reason you got in to early, or on a spike. Nobody elses fault apart rom your own.
I dare say the BOD could've done things better, but i'm not as well qualified as they are to make that judgement.

If you save for 5 years you're tied in for another 5 to get the full benefit. A long time for a maximum of £100 a month.

I liked the interview and think he addressed some issues that have been aired on this BB.
I have no idea what "it works" will mean in sp terms, but i'd sooner have him saying that then the compounds "don't work".
You are permanently negative, which only leads me to believe you've done a lot of of money in VAL, sold up, and your sole purpose is to talk the company down.

Don't forget the newspapers. Last week we delivered broadsheet newspapers under the guise of door 2 doors. It rained for 3 days as well. I remember getting paid well for those types of mailings. Not so now, as I'm sure you're aware. Never mind though. It's all profit for RMG.

Disgraceful turnout. People have voted yes on ifs, buts and maybes. This is exactly what RMG wanted. I can't wait for the fallout. I see and hear it every day. I'm hoping that the new pension proposal is accepted by the government. It is not guaranteed.

I'm with you Spacecake. Should the Government refuse this pension proposal, what are we left with? That's why it's a no for me.

Just a reminder to all investors. This proposal has to be agreed by the members. All things may not be as rosy as the majority believe.

@ Dipyourbreadin. Difficult to say until i can see the offer. I will be worse off, just not as much as if the intial suggestion had been accepted. There will however, be thousands of posties who will move from their current defined contribution scheme to the new one. They will be the real gainers. I think the figure is about 40,000. Not too sure on that number though.

and it would appear that he is happy with the outcome of talks. It seems that all things only have to be written up and signed off. 1 pension for all posties is a bigee for me. Later finish times also seems to be in the bag, although IMO this is not a good thing. He talks about 15-30 minutes and he urges members not to vote against this proposal. I imagine that would be last letter as opposed to last item. Can't wait to see everything on offer, including the pay rise, and how long this agreement will last for until the next round of cost cutting measures.
