I work with a couple of blokes who've been walking the streets for over 45 years. They started as telegram boys. In their sixties now.
They can't get VR but the overpaid white collars workers who can't do their job, can.

This lack of productivity thing takes on a whole new meaning. Still, at least we're getting rid of the deadwood.

I think the point that madas was trying to make was that the current working practices are unsustainable. And that these were brought on by privatisation and the capitalist culture.

You have also alluded to the unreasonable demands required of some posties, by managers, caused by privatisation by the incessant need for cost cutting.

And before anybody asks (jonjo and Arsenal et al): Yes i did take the free share allocation, yes i did subscribe to the SAYE scheme.

I'm using that to top up my eroded final salary pension scheme.
Getting back to RMG. It's getting busier and busier. Still a good buy for the less risk averse.

Financial loss can make people very bitter.
I'm quite enjoying being on the back foot at the moment. It will make the upside (if that ever comes) even more exciting.

I don't need to know what price (only one?) you bought at. You are clearly at a very heavy loss.
You intimated "work for nothing" as you have stated many times that the BOD have added nothing.
Just because you don't invest in a company that you work for does not imply you have no faith in it.
So I'll ask you again, do you think the BOD are being disingenuous, as your last post would indicate.

ie; Investing in their own company at least provides an indication they think its a good investment. They obviously don't, because they haven't put anything in, which risks their own money. Unlike the poor shareholders that supported them early doors.

I would also like to add, that the poor shareholders you speak about, wanted to be rich shareholders in double quick time. That is why they invested in a non money making company with huge potential upside. As opposed to a 100 company. A company that needs to raise funds on a regular basis.
Admit it tozerk, you fucked up. The only thing you can't accept is that it is all your fault, not the people that work for the company.
FWIW, I am also down about 60% from my original investments. But if I felt the way you do, i'd sell up no matter how much I was under.

I'll tell you what an early prce is, the price or prices you bought at. I also think that you, and many other unhappy shareholders, could've taken some sort of profit over the years. And therefore greed is the reason you are all still here.

So do you suggest these people work for nothing?
Do you think that if they invest in the company with their own cash it will make them do things differently? I doubt it very much.

I'm not really sure if you are aware, but dilution is part and parcel of the bigger picture. You see, the majority of these companies have no money, so they go cap in hand to all and sundry to raise funds to further these projects.
I'm hopeful that the latest (hopefully last) fund raise does not include the likes of YA
