Was posting about CEY over on the S/B board yesterday ---there is a lot of "noise " around current levels ( 58-60 p ) so i would be looking at a close above current levels to be confident --it is a bit overstretched and may see a pull-back to around 56 p ( as ARMANI says) but i would not rule out the 54p support area. ---target is 66 p now if 61/62 p can be breached ---GLA. BRIT still doing very well , i see, ---took 4 pts. on a short yesterday and short today from 74 p --- overstretched now , most def. and will look for a pull-back to around 65 p , hopefully !! ---GLA. Dow and Dax storming away again on low volumes ----above 18000 and 20,000 will be eventual target --- doing well on a Dow long at the moment ----fingers crossed ----!!!

BRIT closed at 269 p , i see, ---will probably have a little short on it for monday morning --- just a tad overstretched at that level ---- quite bullish tho' now ---GL.

Optimus, yes, BRIT have come back well !! --hit a high of 264 p today , but in doing so are approaching overbought again and well above 50/150 EMA's --popped the top Bollinger as well, so a good time to take your profits !! --- a close above the recent highs today tho' would be a" bullish " signal for the future !! ---- GS ---good luck with RMG --a nice bottom found at that 390 p marker for the moment ----450 p may be slightly optomistic but 430 p certainly looks achievable !!----- Indicies digesting the recent rapid "Santa Rally " today so pretty quite on that front ----been busy putting up christmas lights in my trees out front -------always one with a bulb blown !! Your call , as always, but why sell RIO today ? --may well go on to touch the downtrend which is about 2950 p ( strong res as well there from last couple of months --has made the 50% retracement level today so may be a good call ? ---thought you were after more than breakeven tho' ?-----GL.

Yes, another good day for RIO and WEIR !!---both will soon be approaching next touch on their respective downtrends , so at that point you will know for sure whether the continuation is up or not !! ----------another fairly decent day for me on the Dow and Dax , altho' it is very time consuming and " stressful" at times !! --------let's hope the rally is "ON " --todays closing levels were very promising and the Dax and Ftse100 futures are well up at the moment !! ------GL.

Well, a very good run up from recent lows --- 187/190 p ish proving to be the new bottom prehaps ?? ----240 p will be difficult again but after that 260 p should come up fairly quickly !!----Brokers are very mixed still --ranging from underperform to overperform (lol) --no change there then !! ------------approaching overbought technically and well out of top bollinger ---50 and 200 ema's well below current SP. -----gone for a small short posn. @ 237.5 p only because it looks a tad over -extended but still holding underlying shares from 171 p ---so happy with that !!---- let's see what happens !!!!! ---GLA.

Well, another wild, wild day on the markets ? --caught a good haul on the Dow and Dax , not bothered with the Ftse100 but a good bounce GS as you say from just below 6200 ---everything still on a knife edge and may just get quite nasty to the downside if these bounces cannot be held !!!!!! Tomc ------PMO may be another to consider if you are into buying OIL stocks at the moment ---good luck with those you have already !!

I should think a lot of stocks had large shorts taken out on them last thursday and friday -- i had a few short posns. running myself , and still have !!! ---i hear what you're saying but if the merger /takeover goes thru' then Aviva will be well placed to endure a difficult insurance market in the coming year !! ---looking very closely at live posns. in AV. ---none yet but on the five year basis, altho' disappointing that 385 p ish has given way , the 460 p level may tempt me back in or perhaps 440/450 p ish ---oversold technically at the mo. and well below all averages , but as i say, so are a lot more since friday's close !! -----Santa is long overdue now especially with the Ftse stocks !!----it's got all the makings of being a very "topsy - turvy " year -------GL.

Just as well i've been out all day Xmas shopping and then eating and drinking till about an hour ago ----Absolute carnage , i see , on the "world stage " ---counting myself lucky i sold out of a lot of my profitable shares and funds a while back and halved up my bonds !! --bargains galore out there very soon or a pre-cursur to something worse to come ??? -- last years Santa rally started on the 13 th december ---will this years start on monday?? ---we will soon find out ------Dow and Ftse100 are now both approaching daily RSI " oversold " ( 30) --Dax is not far off either ---so now is the time for a Santa Rally , if ever there was one !!!! --------will have to come up with my Fantasy Share before any rises now (lol) --looking at BT at the moment for mine ?? ---will confirm next week . ---------------------GLA and roll on monday -----

See your post over on the Tesco board ---you may be right on your price levels but it doesn't really matter to me as a "trader "of the stock !! ----bought 5000 yesterday on a S/B @ 157 p and just sold @ 178 p --will be plenty more to be made playing the ups and downs with Tesco ---yesterdays early dip was well overdone on something that was really already known !! ---- Yes , WEIR had a good rise from the oversold technical position yesterday -----you may have been better buying WEIR and putting RIO in as your "fantasy" share ??? ----haven't got one yet to enter , still looking !! -------GL.

Still alive and kicking (lol) --hadn't actually realised it has been almost a week since posting on any general board --been over on the Spread betting Chat Board for a while as they are all into spread betting the Indicies and stocks !! Finally closed out 95% of my Dom short posns. for a tiny profit .---went in short heavy at the 699 p marker and todays drop finally gave me a get-out card !! --kept 5% in case of futher drops now , but it has shown remarkably strength over the last few weeks ?? Have done very well from the Dow and Dax pull-backs and closed out my remaining Gold short below 1200 as those pull-backs were always coming and Gold would rise when they did --todays rise in Gold proved me correct !! Unfortunately , my Esure and Aviva longs got stopped out with the Ftse drop ( swings and roundabouts ) but had already closed out some longs in PMO , GKN , BT and ITV a few days ago , again with the thought of pull-backs in mind !!. Sold out or halved many of my Bonds and some more of my Funds , as i was too heavily weighted in favour of the Ftse 250 and smaller comps. --- GS --have looked over RIO and WEIR quickly ---hope you sold out of RIO this afternoon on the rise to 2900 --would have given you an 80p ish ( 3.0% ) profit on the day !! --it's still in a big downtrend but the next few days will see if it has formed a double bottom at that 2850 p closing level ---any bounce now has to get past 2950 p !! Your Comp. share WEIR is also in a steep downtrend still -----support might just be seen at or near todays closing sp ---it is technically oversold as well at the moment ---so Good Luck with them both . Haven't got a share to enter with at the moment but will sort something out soon !! ------------------GLA.
