The SP has been on a bit of an erratic ride since i last posted !! --have managed to get in and out a couple of times since then so in profit overall -----that 260p ish high has put a cap on any rises and the 248 p level was res. again for a while !! ----back above it , i see now, after a recent dip below !! ---- am out at the moment , been busy on the Dow and Dax ----BRIT is a bit unsure which way it wants to go at the moment , so i will watch 248 p down and 260 p up for now !! ---------------------GL.

Well, missed the bounce on Gold but am in short now from 1214 !! -----a bounce on PMO has given me a good short-term share profit altho' the Bond hasn't reflected it yet .----a nice rise on Aviva this morning to 515 p --couldn't resist taking the profit on the 498 p buy late yesterday ---going to be a bit erratic until the deal is sorted or otherwise !! -- Xmas Rally on Indicies or not i wonder ?? ---Dax testing all time highs this morning ( gave me a quick short opp. for a few pts ) . Any pull-backs will be buying opportunities( on the Dow and Dax , at least )----not sure where Ftse is going ?? Optimus:--- I have been in DIVI for a couple of years now -----has done me proud ,altho' not much pos. movement lately ?? Have sold out of a number of my Funds ( the loss makers ) and just going with a few with better past performance !! -----------------GLA .

Spot Gold futures open 21 pts. lower at 1144 ---recovering a tad to 1151.54 as i post --- good value or not yet ?? ---honestly wish i knew !! Brent Crude futures down a couple of pts. to $64.22 / barrel ------Sainsbury's drop pump price down to 117.9 p / litre !! ---- The Worlds gone crazy (lol) --------GL.

The board has been a bit quiet for a couple of days !! ---yes, you never liked the "coms" saga much as i remember ? ---mind you our comp. gone out of the window , as QPP went astray as well !! --i didn't lose anything much on Coms , but some of them over on the board must be in a paper loss posn. of 10's of thousands of pounds , perhaps more !! ---------i'm still going short the Dow and Dax ---ridiculously high stock valuations on the 30 stocks that make up the Dow and the 30 that make up the Dax. ----when people do decide to take some profits then some swift drops may be seen ?? -----i've given up almost expecting DOM to drop , it''s currently overbought technically as much as the Dow/Dax ----never knew people ate so many Pizzas (lol) ----but i'm hanging in there and adding to my short posns. every time it rises another 12 p or so ( paper loss on it at the mo. will be redeemed quite easily when it does decide to pull-back !! ) -----i am still expecting a consolidation on the Indicies before any potential Santa Rally -----fingers crossed !! ---GL.

Interesting interview on Sky News yesterday about the proposed deal ----in essence short -term pain but long -term gain ----- a rights issue by the back door , but will it be too expensive to achieve the same result ?? ---only time will tell ,i suspect !! -----may dabble with a small long posn. if it appears it may have stabilised for the moment ----caution for now is the word i have in mind ------it may just move very quickly again soon , but which direction ?? -----opinons anyone ?? ------GLA.

Well , extremely glad i got out of this one when it went RSI overbought @ 124 p for a small profit banked !! ---was sorely tempted to go short at that point ( should have done i know ) but my sentimental nature on this one stopped me at the last minute (lol) ---may buy back in if that 206 p ish low is breached ? -----GL.

Morning ----thanks for the warning ----yes, it punched thru' the 535/536 p strong res. level finally on friday and held , which is a very "bullish" short-term move .!! ---- anyone that bought in at the mid-october low of around 475p has been hansomely rewarded !! ----i would expect a pull-back below that 536 p level early next week anyway as strong res. levels hardly ever get beaten first time around ? ---but if it can close for a second day above it very soon then the upward continuation should be confirmed !! ---brokers not to keen on it at the moment tho' and it is still above all key DMA's ----false breakout or not ?? ----soon see -------GL.

Everyone ---took the ex-divi in its stride yesterday and more than made it up --well done Aviva ----been busy elsewhere so haven't got back in yet !! ---punching that 536 p resistive level constantly today and gone overbought every time it breached it !! --time to punch it a few more times today yet ---close above 536 p today and that would be extremely bullish -- if it does close above it a pull-back may ensue as it would be nearing overbought on the wider rsi and moving averages but would , as i say, be extremely bullish for the coming weeks ---all hinges on that strong 535/536 p resistive level ----i want to see that level act as support in the coming days !! -----GLA.

The movement of Gold today has been quite dramatic !!---down 12 or so this morning to up 8 or so as i post !!! -----caught a good drop on my RTN short today ( 44 pts ) --very happy with that , but i should have gone long straight away !! DOM continues to frustrate me (lol) -----GL with the work ----
