Yes --from my perspective, just on a Technical indicator basis !! Only me and you in the 2015 SP Comp, , --nobody else responded ?? Ftse100 briefly tangled with 6800 this afternoon and Dax hasn't stopped going up yet --10500 the target for that one !!--truly amazing !! ------------------- A Dow close tonight above 17610 or so will see the 18000 highs soon !! Will be interesting to see if Friday brings a bit of a pull-back ?? ----but unless other world events turn nasty ( Ukraine, Iraq etc, etc ) then everything in the garden looks rosy until Greece votes to pull out of the Eurozone abd then the proverbial " **** " hits the fan again (lol) . It then now -----12 month downtrend channel top line reached today !! --brief flurry above it and then final touch turned down ----- Shorts v Longs really starts as from now ( Tesco in exact same position ) ---- this is the level the shorts have been waiting for just as much as the longs !! Looks like i sold my Aviva and you sold your ADN and then they both went up almost the same amount straight after !! I'm 15.17% up now on Aviva Comp. When you say "wiped out " i hope you mean just your posns. and not all your "hard earned " ?? ---- Dow still very , very volatile --today, i suspect was probably to do with Obama's speech about the US economy being on the up and up now ----coupled tho' with the position he is taking on Iraq and Ukraine !! -- Dow and Dax are both Bullish again , especially Dax on anything above 10200 now ( 10,000 should be history now !! --famous last words ) --- A safer trading stance on the Dow is wait until 17600 is re-taken and held on a closing basis with a supportive candle going into the close !! I have short traded the Dow from 17600 and just long traded off the drop at 17400 ---it's settling back now to trade off the 17440 level ( roughly ) --- Ftse100 has gone it's own sweet way , thankfully, in the last few sessions, allowiing our shares to gain a little momentum !! I closed my Aviva longs a bit early but banked a good profit , so i'm happy . Closed my QPP this morning @ 120.2 p as it had hit the res. level ----i see, it dropped back to 105 p at 14.40pm ( ??? ) ---haven't bought back in , but should've i think !!--- Went short on Gold at 1303 this morning ( way overbought on the daily ) -- a pull-back to 1280 initially and then perhaps 1240 before heading up to first res. @ 1320 ( 1400 maybe after that) --sitting @ 1288 as i write , so happy with my decision !! --- Volatility may be here for a while longer yet, Optimus ------care is needed ---a lot of s'betters are staying on the sidelines until when and if the volatility subsides a little !! I'm trading the 1 minute graph , using the rsi in particular and obvious levels of supp./res. --not for everyone , but it suits my style of day trading / scalping --- I have been called "extremely reckless" by one particular poster pointing out that my trading style was going against all the accepted rules and for not heeding the "holy grail" of trading (lol) ----what a load of old tosh !! Well, it's obviously dropped well into oversold ----what happened for the massive drop to occur on wednesday morning ?? --- you have to find out the reason for that drop in order to give a proper view really now ---perhaps the Fundamentals can be assessed ( GS , any chance of that from you ? ) ---it's down to 2009 and 2005 lows now --it's not an oil company , is it? metals i thought ? altho' don't know what they mean by " produces commercial energy ? " --Deutsche Bank is the only Broker pushing it at the mo .!!---- There is a Technical case for a bounce or retracement but the last two huge drops have not seen one !! ---has it bottomed out and worth a punt ?------pretty risky in MVHO unless you can research it in more detail right at this minute quickly while it's this low !!-------GL tho' if you take a punt .

On the Spread Betting Forum , who himself confessed to being a non-professional trader castigated me for my Trading Method/Style ---calling me " extremely reckless " . Accused me of not sticking to the " Holy Grail " tried and trader accepted methods of trading in markets suffering double digit swings -----literally told me that what i was doing was " simply not cricket , my good fellow " (lol) --- Of course i pointed out that it's my money , i've had many years of success with my method , and i was very offended !! Couldn't give a flying fffffig to be honest --been called a lot worse than " reckless " over the years (lol) --but the gaul of some people still amazes me !!
