take a "leak" ( as you do at my age ) --to find Dow and Dax limit long orders already filled and closed out on the o/n Futs. for good pts. haul --- 17600 and 9600 were important levels to breach ( been tested most of the day ) --upward momentum gaining pace again ---OIL bounce quite significant today --- Ftse100 futs. back above 6500 ---everything should bounce in a few hours, hopefully , ( including Aviva probably (lol) ---back to bed for me !! -------------GL.

Approaching important levels down around 460 p now ---my choice doesn't look to have been too " bright " at the moment ?? --- dumped my holding this morning at 467 p ----- annoying , as i was about £800 or so up a few days ago !! ---still, on a brighter note , large swings on the Dow and Dax today have been kinder !! --will be back in AV i have no doubt very soon , as it is now on or near oversold technically ---GLA.

Optimus ( if you're looking in ? ) -----Shell is still the most expensive fuel in my area ---7p / litre more than anyone else .That adds up to a lot of money for the average motorist !! --they do seem to get a lot of customers tho' , even at that price hike , simply because of their excellent geographical locations ie. next to and in full view from the main trunk roads !! Another " uncertain " day on the markets , but the big swings do make it a lot easier to trade !! ESURE has been one stock seemingly bucking the downwad trend at the moment . I was listening intently to Sky Business News on OIL today ---- nobody sems to see an easy fix at the moment , so the "pain " looks set to continue for a while longer ?? I see your post with ARMANI about CARCLO ----i think we talked about them way back , didn't we?? ----not much movement since going sub £1.00 but the potential is most definately there --i hold a few bought back in october , i think, at 90 p ---i would think a bottom has been seen around that 85 p level recently !!------GLA.

just filled my good ladies car up at Sainsbury's for 95 p / litre !! ---105.9 p at the pump , plus 7p litre off coupon , plus equivalent 4p litre off with nectar bonus points by using Sainsbury's Bonus credit card to pay for it !! -- i think it's been about 8 years since i could fill up at that price anywhere ?? ------

A "brutal " day on the markets today ---a serious case of Post Xmas Blues ?? or the start of a more serious rout , i wonder ?? ----- OIL still not found a bottom , altho' talk of a bounce around $50 / barrel on light crude is widely expected . Sainsbury's pump price now down to 107.9 p /litre -----rumoured to be going sub £1.00 / litre before rising again ?? Dow below 17600 , Dax below 9500 and Ftse100 below 6450 ------all looking pretty " sickly" ---GLA.

Still busy trading the Dow at the moment ----going to have to learn to keep away from the screen a bit more in 2015 --- too time consuming and too stressful !! It has been a good year for me , so i suppose i shouldn't really grumble ---- have done a lot better on trading the Indicies this year , so i am hoping for the volatility to carry on thru' 2015 ---not so good on my share trading , altho' there have been some bright "spots" like BRIT, IMG , TSCO .& AHT . A good little earner has been my P2P lending accounts and various high interest alternative energy Bonds !! GS ;-- I do keep seperate accounts , as it were, but only "tot-up" everthing properly once a year in April -- i have a fair idea of how things are going in between times . Sold my BRIT this morning @ 271.5 p ---quick profit of £552 ---even i wasn't expecting that so quick !!

Taking a "hammering " today -----pity i 'm not short the Dax , but a Dow short has paid off reasonably well today so far -----GLA.

50% retracement now back to 60p ish support level --closed my short a tad early ?? ----needs to hold at around these levels as gap down is around 248/249 p ---anyways , just bought some at 262.3p -----GL to us both ----

That's quite a target to beat !! ---- are you sure selling a 2015 tip when it's still 2014 is in the rules ?? ----WEIR on a couple of Analyst's lists for 2015 , so more to come perhaps ?? Nice little drop with BRIT in the first ten minutes of trading this morning to give it that pull-back to 265 p . i posted about ---closed at 267.5 p for another 6.5 points .---- Looks like the Greeks may upset the european apple -cart again ?? ----------------GL.

Analysts and Brokers etc coming up with their 2015 picks now , i see !! ------ my tactics will be slightly different than 2014 , in that, i shall be trading in a lot fewer stocks at any one time . Having reduced my Bond and Fund holdings , i shall concentrate on trading the Dow and Dax swings ---------I do think that 2015 will be another year where these Indicies will move rapidly from RSI Overbought to Oversold and vice versa , which has been the trend thru' 2013 and 2014 ------if Elliot Waves are your thing then there is a strong case for the next Wave down on the Dow sometime in the first or second quarter of 2015 --this will , as we know, take everything else with it !! ----Oil will continue to fall or at least just tread water , as the ultimate goal now is , in my view , to break the Russian Economy ?!?! -------- " Being Short Is Being Ready " is going to be my catchphase for 2015 ---as i see more downside than upside after , perhaps, the first quarters continued euphoria ------i would like to make a lot of money in 2015 of course, but if i don't , then i sure as hell don't want to lose any either (lol) -------i really do hope tho' that my rather pessamistic view proves to be wholly inaccurate !!! ---GLA.
