Yes --- i use Finspreads and IG Index s/b's ---not really got into CFD's much but i do see the advantages they can offer over s/b's ---who do you use ? --- DM Access for no spread is a big advantage using CFD 's but costs and commissions can vary quite a bit from company to company ?? ---i/m only in for the short -term trade as well normally , but do hold a lot of companies in share accounts from much lower levels and trade the rises and falls along the way ( BT, IMG, GKN,WG ,AHT are just some which i hold and can be volatile enough to trade either way as i see fit ) --------GL.

it did , however, bounce off 50 DMA again in late monday trading and so i put a limit buy order in @ 521 p which triggered me long again yesterday morning !!---my limit is in @ 533 p for now --that level will put Aviva near overbought and well above all dma's !! ---------------all the Indicies are motoring higher today and Ftse100 is back well above 6500 once again ---Esure is suffering today after results and Aviva and other insurers have benefitted from that as well .----- gains may well be tempered to the recent highs esp. if the Indicies decide to consolidate ---but the Dow in particular looks strong and may make an attempt at 17500 before consolidated ---JMVHO everyone and GL .

The US Dow seems to be marching on ever upwards and leaving our poor litle Ftse100 well behind now ---even the mighty german Dax is not keeping up with it anymore ---Dow is overbought now but with cheaper money and oil and gold going thru' the floor i'tll take a good man or an idiot to ( that's me ) to short it with any conviction !! Evening --been busy with the Indicies so not much to add here recently !! GS ----only 5.2 % yield but i wanted to switdh out of my Enquest Bonds ,as with the current ENQ share slide they were in real danger of breaching their covenant on the Bonds !! --switched into Premier Oil Bonds to keep some exposure to Crude Oil as the price has or will soon bottom out @ about $75 a barrel and i'm thinking of taking a long posn. in US Brent Crude ? ---means pump prices will start to rise agian soon tho' --swings and roundabouts all the time (lol) ----and Tesco Bonds ( only as i read a positive article in Shares Mag. about them and thought , well why not ?? --------back in Rolls Royce ( a while ago actually so doing ok with those ) been trading your old nemesis , Barc , again --closed out at 243 p the other day so ok on that one as well ----- caught a "cold " i'm afraid with my Enquest shares but can't win em all !! ---still trying to rationalise my share pf but keep getting into more instead of reducing (lol) --- no Optimus for a while on the bb ?? ---Liberalman and i have called a "truce" !! ------- you'll probably do better with your Funds from now till end of Q1 next year i would think ? -----GL.

It's going to be more difficult now to judge a good re-entry price . I'm expecting Indicies to consolidate very soon which will probably bring the SP back a few pence !! ---it is still above all moving averages which would support my view -- the highs around 535 p ish need to be taken and held quite obviously to confirm a continuation ---that's not too far away so it may be a waiting game for me unless the pull-back is a little more extreme and that would give a better value long entry -----GL if you're still in and holding -----

really don't like this stock ---scathing reports and downgrades from them for this one all over the place !! ----GLA.

( much larger) ----was up at 5am today to see the Dow Futures "rocket" up past 17400 on the Japanese package ---over a 1,500 point rise in just 2 weeks ---overbought ya reckon ?? --short term i would say yes--i'm short from 17425 altho' i am hedging that with a small Dax and Ftse100 long which is paying off at the moment !! ---Have to say UK stocks haven't risen much altho' the index is over 6530 as i post --S&P over 2019 --got to be setting up for a pull-back very soon , if not today then next week ?? ---Dow gone from RSI 28.4 (oversold) to RSI 68.2 ( approaching overbought ) in 2 weeks ---really is incredible !!! -----GLA.

Dow may pull-back a bit --had a near on 1100 point rise in 15 days --but then again wouldn't be surprised to see it attempt the highs around 17310 ish in the next few days !! --a sniff of interest rate rises will put the brakes on it big time tho' (lol) -----i'm still in here with underlying stock @ 171 p ----fingers crossed ---GL.

The end of QE in the US tonight ----widely expected but may be interesting to see what happens now ?? --bagged a few points from the "turmoil " in the Dow tonight --long again now from 16901 ---Ftse100 futures still above 6450 at the moment (just) ---least ways still above 6400 --looking a little better !!----. some big names tomorrow reporting interims and interim statements !! --- may take a few points off it ?? ---GLA.
