Just looked back a few days to find your PF post --see Brit there now --i see you've gone back into Axa Biotech again ? -----

Didn't know you were still holding BRIT up till yesterday -----Esure down a couple again today but current levels look a good punt ! --Worthington shot up a few days ago from 40 p or so to 200 p and dropping back just as quick ? ---needs more research ----GL.

If asked i would have most certainly apologised for my language in my previous post --indeed i make an apology here and now ------think it a tad un-neccessary to actually report the post --but you must do as you see fit , i suppose ----GL.

hope everyone took advantage of the sp yesterday and bought a few ? ---may just be a bounce into the market rise today , but it has retaken the 510 p level which is a good sign and can be used for an effective supp. if you got in at 506 p ish yesterday-- otherwise 500 p ish s/l . ---hitting 50 DMA today so needs to move on a bit more to be sure --unfortunately AV. technically still has a peculiar moving average pattern , in that 9, 12, 25 are all above 50 and all well above 200 --all a bit topsy-turvy so beware of that if taking the plunge for the longer term ---just MVHO -- if yours differs then post it but don't s l a g me off for mine ----GLA.

Went to Rhodes many years ago before the kids were born --- stayed in IXIA at the huge Metropolitan Capsis Hotel --loved the old town and spent a blisterering hot day in Lindos climbing up to the monument ---height of summer but still very high humidity thru' the nights and nothing would dry if you hung it out -----couldn't sleep cos of the noise from millions of crickets --but a very enjoyable holiday all-round, never-the-less ---must go back some time soon !! -------GL.

My take on things for what it's worth .-------Ftse100 dropped thru' long term lower support line ( 2009 low) when it breached 6600 --so not looking good !! --- there is a severe disconnect between the DOW / DAX and FTSE100 ---if 6400 does not hold then collapse to sub 6000 ( 6250 & 6060 may offer some support ) is probably very likely ---sell into any rallies is the advise being widely offered unless that channel line can be retaken soon ( 6600 or above ) ----------Dow , however, is still very bullish with 2009 uptrend still firmly in place at anything above 16400 ( not far away , granted , but still in tact) --- if 16400 is breached then near 16000 is ery likely .------Dax , is a different story as it has no channel from 2009 directly , so we have to take the major support level @ 9000 for reference ----only a couple of hundred away so not brilliant either ---below 9000 , well, i prefer not to think about that one !!! --------so there we have it , for what it's worth ---what do you do with all your UK stocks and Funds and Bonds ---try to pick the good ones and dump the bad ones (lol) or get out altogether or do as i do -- go short until better levels are taken and held , --- irrespective of whether you end up banking any actually profit at all -----hedging against the drop means , at least, you don't lose money -----------GL both ------think we are all going to need it ---one thing in our favour is the time of year --now and into the new year is traditionally good for markets and stocks -----we'll see ----

Tonight ( family commitments again --i'm still looking forward to the day when my son and daughter can look ater themselves and stop pestering their weary old ma and pa (lol) ---yes , you may be right on the petrol thing ---i remember when i first learned to drive you could get 3 octane or 5 octane fuel etc , none of this un-leaded and un-leaded plus nonsense !! --- used to be pumps run by people , no self serve and i used to ask for a shot of Reddex for each gallon ( not litres) they put in --- no idea what Reddex was or did (lol) just that my dear old dad used to swear by it and i just carried on with the tradition ----you even have to put additives in diesel now if you've got a diesel car a few years old and engine oils are just a nightmare these days , what with semi synthetic, full synthetic (lol) --- and a gallon of synthetic oil even for my wife little run around costs almost as much as the damn road tax --mad !! ------a gallon of Castrol GTX used to cost me about a fiver for my first motor ( Ford Cortina 1500 GT. in Ermine White with black leather upholstry ) --wrote it off , while drunk in charge , one night on the way home from Tiffanys Night Club in Stafford --same one i posted about being stolen while in Leicester --- seems everyones ready to go at last ---only gonna be you and me in the cave for a while unless Tomc or someone drops in (lol) ---catch you tomorrow ------GL.

Yes, getting fed up of trading the Index volatility ---just too time consuming --babies being thrown out with the bath water at the moment so there will be good opportunties to pick up some bargains in the near future !! --- lower to come maybe yet looking at historical oct/nov trends especially in years where there is no low in june/july ------ still , looking on the bright side all my stock shorts are doing me proud --swings and roundabouts ? --------------------------not much of a choice to be made on my shopping as my Sainsbury's is about a 10 mile round trip closer than any other supermarket --altho' i suppose a couple of quid more in petrol could easily be made up on a couple of weekly bargains --but then Sainsbury's give nectar points and 10p a litre off fuel --again, swings and roundabouts --------GL.
