Yes, agreed --much stronger support down@ 82 /83 p , but oversold now and out of lower bollinger a bit -- very good recent results ---will top up on any further drops to average down a little -- broker recomms. are favourable but my s/l will have to be close to that 80 p level --GL.

As always it's JMVHO on the technicals as i interpret them at this point in time ----one or two positive Broker recomms. coming in -- very oversold on RSI ---230 p ish was res. then supp,. back in sept/nov. 2103 --- 250 p ish has been very good supp. on numerous occasions over last 12 months ----this will now be res. going forward , and is 50% retrace./gap-fill from recent sharp drop from 270 p down to 230 p ---50% retraces have been seen on four seperate occasions over last 12 months ---timescales vary from 1 month thru' 4 months , but timescales are not that important if ( IF ? ) the buy-in level is good !! -------i just feel now is the time to go in fairly conservatively until the direction is confirmed ---as i say just my VHO , please feel free to differ --it has dropped 3 p from my buy-in level so please DYOR ---buck GL if you take the plunge with me (lol)-----------------

(lol) ) ----GS , Talk Talk still settling back , i see , and Fres trying to turn round ( fingers crossed as i've just closed the last of my shorts !!! ) ----- Long PMO again . -----------------GLA.

Afternoon all ---- under the weather somewhat today , hopefully just something i ate late night ? --catch up later if i can shake it off --------GLA.

It can be very frustrating --i have plotted Dow and Ftse graphs every year since 2009 for the period in question in an attempt to see any pattern that would help and it is difficult .----that's why i got into "short selling " mainly profitable on the Indicies and a few volatile stocks . ---cash is only going to give you 2-2.5 % return if your lucky so i also got into P2P lending and Bonds just to give me the diversity and even the year out -----

A draw i think ? as there was obviously a misunderstanding on the time frame involved .----------------Fres , starting this year from jan 2010 levels so who knows !! ---world leader in silver production and second best in gold ---on balance i 'd give it a thumbs up but bottom may not be in for current drop ? altho' very oversold at the mo.------GL

Dax and Ftse mirror the Dow very closely at times ------Gold is used by traders as a hedge against main Index movements , hence one up and the other down ---there has , however , been something of a dis-connect between this "relationship " just recently and so i find it's better to trade gold on it's own chart at the moment --but a big drop on the Dow would still see a spike up in Gold and vice versa ---so with Dow still very bullish and 20,000 being rumoured it's hard to see Gold getting much of a lift anytime soon ?? i'm still down a few hundred on Gold so it's a quandry , to be sure ----GL.
