Afternoon All .... Dax still looking very strong . Stopped out of that 12528 Short ... couple of trades in between to get a few points back ... but gone Short again today at 12681.2 , so already underwater with it , lol . Good Luck with yours fp !! GLA ....

Afternoon fp ..... good to hear from you . Good luck with those Dax Shorts ... IG have Dax & Dow bullish now but not so the Ftse100 , time will tell !! I'm Dax short 12528 from near yesterdays new all time high ... will hold that for now unless breached to the upside . I'm wary of the time of year now ( sell in may etc , french & british elections so lots to influence the markets one way or another ) Tesco took a bashing on Sainsbury's market report this morning !! Shippy...... according to the wizz kids at IG Index the must hold level is 7090 so that's the level you want it to break down below .... the Dow has broken down well below its support at 20515 and is now testing major support at 20438 which , should it fail to hold , will also bode well for your Ftse100 short !! Things on a bit of a knife edge atm. .... so stick in there , i may have closed my Short posn. far too early but it was at a lot higher £/pt. level than yours ... so my risk was a lot more , bit like your partner. Lol , i'll accept defeat on the weekly's when the Ftse100 hits your 6826 target and not before .To be honest tho' with this Election coming up and Trump versus N.Korea and the French Election turning left( i think) and Sell in may coming up fast , i think it may well get down to 6826 for you .. Ftse100 not usually my " thing " .... more the Dax , Dow & Gold for me with a spattering of equities thrown in for good measure!! So i wish you well with your Ftse100 Short ..... fp " swing trades " more than me so i expect when he calls in next he'll have a word ... This board not populated as much these days tho' .... Well, Theresa certainly starting the week off with a bang !! ... My Ftse100 7400 Short is about to get closed any time soon ..... Just might wait and see " what's occurring " when the US opens..... Gold Short closed for another +10points .... Market bargain time or time to get out & wait till september ?? Hmmm...... wish i knew !! GLA ....

Morning fp & Mungo ( and shippy , if she's found us ? ) ..... Sun just breaking thru' and it's Bank Holiday Monday so just a very quick look in before heading out to the shops after clothes bargains ... NO not me the good lady !! .... I've been a naughty boy so will have to rely on the " mercy " of Admin come the morrow .... hence a quick post today !! I'm still trading the Dax and a lot more on the Ftse100 than i used to.Nicely Short off 7400 so see how that turns out .... probably should have closed out by now but with all the " 3rd world war " rhetoric let's see if we get any more drops before we're all " blown to the stars " ?? Mungo .... TRIN still treading water atm. i see & PMO look to be making a good attempt at a comeback .... rising daily rsi & hopefully another higher high soon around 70p etc.etc.etc. Been doing OK on Gold shorts just lately .... would have been easier had i just gone Long off the break of 1265 res. but hey ho who wants an easy ride in this game ... lol. Done extremely well on EZJ & got out of a very big DOM Long posn. at 312p for a break even trade only to see hem shoot up to around 325p ... bl**dy typical !! Still kept a few so not all lost .... My ITV up a bit and still looking for that elusive bid to actually materialise !! Still in CLLN , TALK & gone back into JRP at 123p .... Hope you're all doing well in your trades & in life generally ... GLA ..... must go now , the wife is salivating at the thought of all those bargains i'm going to have to buy for her .....lol ,

Ms --- evening . Yes i hold the 5.5% ( i think off by heart ) 2020 Bond , just a few thousand units . The price of the Bond stands at 88p / unit atm . so still a little below par value . PMO shares have had a rough time since the beginning of the year but they are now , technically , approaching oversold . Not much else going for them from a technical view atm. except perhaps a small bounce from oversold ?? Fundamentals , if as you say , the funding is coming together , then that may be the catalyst for another run up !! Stay away from the bickering on that board , worse than TRIN atm. Lol---- GL -----

Well, what can i say ---- the Dow valuations are beyond the stars now and still it keeps rising !!! Took the hit again on my last Dax short on a tight stop for a loss of another 20pts. !! Have stayed out altogether since then for fear of losing my sanity , if not my shirt (lol) , so i'm still up about 30pts. on the day !! Incredible doesn't begin to describe it ----- the Trump effect keep rolling on !! GLA ---

Morning both ---- TRIN doing us proud Mungo. Dunno when the DOW is gonna start dropping --- absolutely amazing atm. and they liked The Donald's speech as well so higher to come maybe ?? fp --- well took a hit again on that Dax short of another 30pts. so was 51pts down until i decided to stay up and listen to the speech . Bleary eyed i switched tack and put a small Long on the Dax with the same tight stop in place --- It never looked back --- amazing stuff , absolutely amazing !! Out now , of course , with an overall gain of 50 pts. Could have been another 50 or so as it's up past 12005 now as i post. Well overbought now on most smaller time scales so i'm back in with a small Short now from 12003 -- Gold dropped right back again, i see !! -- GL both ---

Well, had a tight stop on that Dax short --- was in good profit for a while but got stopped out for an 21pt. loss. Back in short now tho' again a bit higher up at 11838 --- up a few points but keeping a close eye with another tightish stop . Not going to let it run back up too high !! -- GLA _--

fp ----morning . My god , sir , very well done on that Dax short !!-- I caught a good drop on a Dow short off 20790 but nothing as impressive as that nicely timed Dax of yours . Have you seen Gold ---- 1256 !!! I missed out big time on that !!! GL ----

Jesus , according to IG the Dow has just given a Buy signal with the hourly close between 17.00 hrs . and 18.00 hrs. above 20757. And i was going to go Short (lol) --- not now , wait and see if they are proved right or wrong first , i think . GLA

Afternoon All ( fp & mungo ) --- hope you're both well !! Caught a good drop off Dax 12020 this morning , was never going to hold onto 12000 again yet the first time around . Was waiting for more pips/points but looks like the 11973 level is holding very well atm. , so closed out ( +45pts. ) --- The Dow has come back off recent highs but still above 20700 ( yes you did hear me correct , 20700 , lol ) lost out on a few points yesterday --- took my eye off the ball for a while and suffered for it by giving back 40 points ( sigh) . Closed out on EZJ this morning for + 48 pts. --- will be back in that one, i'm sure in a wee while . Hoping for Barcs. to finally break the channel deadlock on results tomorrow but really not sure . Doing well atm. with AV. and off course TRIN ( keep up the analysis posts Mungo , please ) . Only one in my PF. causing concern atm. is ITV ---looks set to drop back below 200p again , results very soon , i think ? BTG doing ok for me as well, finally broke back up above 560p resistance. I'm well up on my 300p BT Long but my TCG are being a bit stubborn and only up a couple of pence !! Gone back into JRP again --- been a good trader up to now . Well, seems there's no stopping the DOW --- over 20500 !!!!!! Just as well i closed out earlier !! Seems to be some difference between City Index ( 20526 ) & IG Index (20507) on their Dow Futures quotes atm. Anyways now even more overbought so i'm Dow Short again with City Index @ 20526.5 . GLA ----
