fp --- afternoon & well done on your Dax trades . Yes , dropping back from overbought today altho' things have regained a little composure in the last hour or so !! Another 26pts on the Dax for me and also closed the Dow for just 44 pts. Was really looking for a bigger pull back but i dunno ? May go Short again if the low is breached . GL -----

Hmm ----- just another 25 off the Dax but left Dow running for now . GLA ----

Took 25 pts. & reloaded Short 11801 again. Also Dow Short 20432 . Again, short term overcooked --looking for a drop of perhaps 100pts. GLA _---

Afternoon Guys ----- been doing OK on the Dax last few trading sessions, now Short again from 11801 ( triggered 11800 order ) so see how that goes . Dax looking very strong today but overcooked now on 4 & 1 hourly . So looking for a bit of a drop back of about 50 pts. initially . GLA----

+100pts off a triggered Dow 19990 short !! --- Long Dow again now 19903 !! --- not sure about that one to be honest , may see more drops all round with the ongoing " concerns " over the pond . Ready to hedge if need be !!--- Dax appears to be stuck in a channel , 11660-- 11690 ish ?? GLA ---

Dow Short closed just @ 20032 ---- +64 pts. will do me for now . Probably drop to test 20,000 now !! I'll keep an eye on it for a while . GLA ----

fp / Mungos.- --good afternoon both . Well, " The Donald " certainly stirring things up very early in his Presidency . I simply cannot get my head around the fact that Donald Trump is President of , arguably , the mightiest nation in the free world . Perhaps i'll wake from this nightmare tomorrow (lol) .--- Anyways back to the Markets , who seem to like what#s going on atm., altho' we'll have to wait a few hours longer to see if his current " gaff" on immigration adversely affects the Dow . IG sunday Dow hasn't shown much weakness atm.!! --- The Golod rout seems to have stopped for the moment --- very , very difficult to read any sort of " position " atm , so i'm staying out . I'm continuing my double up strategy on the Dow as it still does look very overvalued and must surely see some sort of downward move soon. Altho' 20,000 will be seen seen now as very good support . I doubled up Short @ 20128 giving me another average of 20096 --- closed one ( average b/e ) and am currently about 13pts. to the good on the remaining position. A drop to target 20,000 would be nice now !! --- My TRIN in profit & so is my latest small Long in AV . Have gone back Long BTG after the drops in pharma. comps. due to Trumps latest drugs pricing strategy & am Long BT ( 300p --- suspect that might be a longer hold than i first envisaged ). Still holding onto a large holding in ITV . Some excitement in the week drove it back uo to around 216p but has dropped right back now as no confirmed bid emerged .Could have saved myself about £5000 -00 had i sold at 216p and bought back at current levels -- hindsight and all that !!. Catch up in the week, time permitting , as the good lady and i are on a cholesterol lowering exercise regime and are out walking most days now ---plenty of good walking to be had around my neck of the woods!!. Trying to cut down on sugar etc etc but finding it hard , so just taking the statins for now (lol)--- GL both ----

Dow showing good strength still !! --- A double up at 20074 has allowed me to average 20065 ---closed one posn. at b/e & now 3 points to the good 10 pts. higher !! -- Still well overbought on the one hourly so looking for a drop now . GLA _---

Ok ---- out of Dax @ 11814 ( +56pts) , out of Ftse100 ( +32pts) . Now foolishly Short the Dow 200055 --- Overbought on 1 hrly, 4 hrly etc.etc --- GLA ----

Dow 20,000 has just been breached !!! GLA ---- time for a short or not , i wonder ??

Morning All ---- well , what can i say , another very quick 100 pts. from the Dax off an 11647 Long order !! Looks to have topped out for now around that level , so order in for any breach of the 11758 high . I guess you're doing ok as well FP from you're 11600 Long ? ITV hasn't risen much again yet and that 208p level seems to be holding for now !! Got in with a 300p Long on BT --- we'll see . Just a water tester so too speak for now but enough for a worthwhile profit . Mungos. did you take the " plunge" as well or not ? GLA ----

Mungos. ---- Good Morning . Yes, BT does look tempting but like you i think a better price may be on offer , perhaps . Close eye on open today . Sincerley hope it doesn't affect my BT pension (lol). Big downtrend since early 2016 highs ---was just starting to claw its way back then bang , down she goes !! Out a bit early on that Dax Long ( drat) but still running a Ftse100 Long from 7141 . My latest Gold Long off 1210 got stopped out again for just a few points. Gold not able to get a good head of steam up atm. I'm heavily into ITV ( up 15% overall atm) --- rumours of a bid swept thru' the market tuesday and the sp shot back up above the crucial 208p level .I suspect it will drop back today if the rumour is unfounded again and i may be regretting not taking the profit around tuesday's 215p high !! I got a few TRIN , just for a gamble , after seeing you over there Actually , have been keeping an eye on it as one of our Goldfields comp. entrants has it as their " share of the year " . Looking at Aviva again if the drop continues a bit more . --- just one of my " frequent trading " shares along with AHT . GL sir --- my bed beckons me back again (lol) .

Just gone Dax Long @ 11527 --- looking for around 100 pts initially . IG have 11471 as crucial level to re-test and hold -- We'll have to wait & see ---- Trump fears creeping into markets now perhaps after he looks less Presidential in sight & sound now more than ever before !! GLA ----

FP --- I'm Dax long off 11503.( 1 minute rsi oversold retest ) Was hoping that my patience for a low entry would pay off --- will have to wait and see now. IG Index have 11500 as key/ crucial support . GL --- closed out Gold for b/e .

FP ---Back in profit again (just ) with Gold . Yesterday's Dax 11603 support now today's 11603 resistance. Dow dragging everything lower atm still. I'll wait it out for a while longer yet, i think . GL ----
