Morning FP --- Gold (lol) . Yes, i finally took a Gold Long position when it passed 1152 and closed out yesterday @ 1198. So you beat me by a few points either end !! I'm back in tho' from 1204 , so i've give back a couple of points already , boo hoo. Took a good Ftse100 short yesterday ( unusual for me ) off 7322 for 50 points ---happy with that . Good Luck with that Dax --- sat on your level atm, i see. Might see further drops so i'll wait a while , i think . GL sir ---

Afternoon FP ( and anyone else looking in ) -- Yep, very quiet board these days -- I'm still trading the Dax & the Dow ( going very well atm) --- I suspect come mid january we may just seen a slide back from the 20,000 level on the Dow as Trump takes " command" !!--- Been a strange old year for all things Political --- My SB pf is made up mostly of ITV , ETO , AHT ,JRP , BTG & AV. --- One or two others along the way as well --- Been a better year than i expected , profit wise , given all the political upheavals .--- May i just take this opportunity to wish you & yours a very Merry Christmas and i will hope to pop back on the board after the festivities .---- GL ----

Evening fp --- well done , as always !! I usually suffer from closing too early so let mine run and then thought , jesus, i've left it too late now ---- so had no option than let them run and see where it went !!! Fortunately the Dax recovered today so i was able to close at 10600 ( give or take a fraction of a point or two ) so happy with that !!! Good luck with your " cable " trades --- not for me atm but one day perhaps. Gold took a hammering as a result so watching that closely again ---- Running a tesco short after today's highs and banked a bit on an ashtead short --- gone long again now at 1296p . GL ----

Morning fp --- yep, i did think the 10200 level was looking likely to get tested !!! Well done on your 10206 entry --- i got in at 10204 to double up on my 10280 ( red for me there for a while , frightening --lol) giving me an average of 10242 over the two positions , so very happy with that atm . My AHT long is going well again ---- Still in JRP & ETo , one up, one down ---- Can't remember if i posted that i got out of my Gold Long for a very small profit ?? --- Anyways , haven't bothered again with Gold yet !!! Off shopping now ---- will keep an eye on things by phone !! GL sir -----

Dunno about you but i got out of my Dax 10525 with a 20 point loss --- could have had a 50 point gain at one time there this morning but left it running just to see where the Dax was going to go !!! -- I've left it alone all day and have gone Long tonight exactly where i did before at 10280 . Whether we see lower than tonight , short -term , remains to be seen !! GL sir ----

fp --- morning and well done , sir !!! Long Dax 10280 for +80pts. Long Dax 10420 for +80pts. both banked !! plus a few tiddlers in between !!! Long order in around same level as you ( 10525) !!! GL -----

Dax is shockingly over sold on the 1 hourly so it might get a lift later on if the Dow manages to pick up a bit --- Trump v Clinton on the tele tonight --- GL ----

Turned into a definite down day atm ---- without boring you with all the fine detail of the ins & outs , i'm Dax Long again from 10398 and just 16pts. adrift since closing that 10450 Short !! 10400 is looking to hold atm. My Gold Long , on the other hand , is rising at last !!! IG have 10368 as next major supp. level , i see !!! I really should have left my Short running (lol) ---- thought 10450 was looking like a good supp. level there for a while !! GL sir ---

fp --- morning & again, very well done on those Shorts !!! Closed my Dax Short @ 10450 ( +215pts) and am now Long again ( for my sins) from 10454 !!! Maybe just a short term bounce this time according to IG !! We'll have to see !!--- My Gold Long still hanging about a few points to the good but not moving very much at all atm ??? --- GL sir ---

fp ---- afternoon , sir !!! Yep, been a good week & very well done on your Dax trades . Have been in & out several times ( 7 Long trades in total , i think ) which has given me 477 pts. ---- Had i have just left the first one running from 10271 it would have given me 417 points but with less fun attached ( less worry also , lol) . My Gold 1310 long got closed for a few points and my current 1330 Long is a few points to the good atm. --- Currently just the one Dax posn ---- a small short from this morning @ 10675, which seemed a good idea as the Ftse100 opened and dropped lower and everything is a tad over extended now anyway --- Going my way atm. --- GL on your shorts ---- not sure how much pull back we will see but i'll let mine run on a bit , i think ----

Closed out at 10434 ( +94 ) -- wanted the round +100 but missed it by a whisker.Definitely struggling with that area this morning between 8.45 & 9.00 , as around 10450 is good res, according to IG Index !!!--- Gold not doing much but still got the small Long running ---- Just this minute gone Dax 10405 Long ---- not convinced 10400 will hold but we'll soon see !! ( tightish stop ) . GL sir ---

fp ---evening , matey !!! Just had to take my 100 points on the Dax Long !!! Thought i may have made an early exit when it hit 10390 odd later in the day but patience is a virtue ( or so they tell me ) and the drop back has given me a 10340 Long entry , not the bottom but seemed a fairly good supported level --- looks to be holding atm. !!! Got a small Gold long running as well now from 1310 ---- missed friday's low around 1305 ish but hey-ho , we'll see !! GL sir ----

fp --- not saying i didn't believe you on that 10270 marker but have been waiting all day for some sort of confirmation that it would hold (lol) --- IG have the 10300 as the benchmark , i see !! --- It's held three times now around the 10254/60 level so i've gone in Long at 10271.1 ---- GL ----

fp --- evening sir, hope you caught some of the drop and/or the bounce !! Never seen the 4hrly & 1hrly Dow so oversold in all my days --- made a sizeable bounce a given really !! Doubled up at 17950 ( 18000 av.) and it run to my 10250 target --- not the high or low at all but more than happy with those doubled up 250 pts.--- Gold still looks set for further pull-back atm --- GL matey ---

Well --- another b/e trade !!! Long 18050 now just before the trading close -- 4 hourly & 1 hourly shockingly oversold atm ---- GLA ----
