The date change is probably an outcome of the SAF blending bill that was passed in the US last month as they announced SAF credits are due to begin in 2027. The market for SAF is developing almost daily and government incentives are likely to play a huge part in when investors decide the time is right to commit.

If you have less confidence in the tech than the institutions and PIs who have invested millions so far, that's fine. But VLS has spent the past decade proving its potentially game-changing technology and has successfully raised all the funds it needed. And with the option agreement with IAG, I think it's more likely than not that investment will come flooding in when needed.

VLS continues to successfully raise all the investment it aims to. That's what XPB failed to mention.

The supplement to the phase 2 trial explains this. They dont 'work' any data. Anomalous results (i.e. outliers) are presented as-is, with possible explanations given.

"Instances of missing, discrepant, or uninterpretable data will be queried with the Investigator for resolution. Any changes to study data will be made to the source worksheets and documented in an audit trail, which will be maintained within the clinical database."

Over £2/share is a big risk for private investors who aren't already familiar with the company, and any who are will have already invested last year. Without a growing demand for SNG stock, the price isn't going to increase.

Given the gains that are to be made from companies who plummetted in April 2020, I think c. £2 is a really encouraging price. If the "Clinical Development Success Rates" graph that's been posted on here is to be believed, we're still only at the '16% chance of success' phase.

If Polar hadn't partly sold and if the covid outlook were as bad as last month, I think we'd be close to 250p now.

There's a pretty simple answer to that. I'm surprised you didn't search for it before asking: Lanzatech's Georgia plant is ready to commence construction.

It was supposed to be last year but has been delayed a little. You obviously won't get anyone committing to fund a plant until it's ready to start construction, and we're not going to be at that stage before next year, maybe 2024. That's why our mcap is only £100m and we can currently buy in for pennies.

Single-asset risk doesn't mean "it's risky investing in a company whose value is almost entirely in a single asset".

It's a term referring to the specific calculations used to quantify the risk an investment poses, and it doesn't apply here.

Tbh I forgot it was 75% of votes needed to approve a takeover. I thought it was 50% (plus one vote), which might have been achievable if they already held 20% and if enough PIs were willing to take a low-ball offer for the quick return.

That was my point. If Polygon controls enough of the company (and enough of the vote) is there anything to stop them 'selling' it to another company in their own group for £5, even if it's worth much more?

If Polygon were intending to sell Synairgen to an existing, multi-billion pharma company, they would want to secure the highest price.

But if they're selling it to another firm owned by or linked to the Tetragon group (and therefore keep to profits and growth in-house), maybe not so much. So would there be any legal hurdles there?
