Stockpiling will be out of the question if the company's only producing 100,000 treatment courses per month for the foreseeable future. The world is likely to use any available stock produced in the next couple of years.

I just took a look at four AIM biotech stocks that are up today (basically selected at random) and they're all still below Friday's closing price. They were GNS, DDDD, AVCT and ORPH.

Synairgen already had a high degree of uncertainty around it, but I think it's Ukraine that tipped it over. The timing of yesterdays sudden 4-5% drop that hit many stocks seems like too much of a coincidence for Ukraine not to be a factor.

I only read the abstract and I'm not a scientist, so feel free to ignore this. But that paper seems to be saying omicron is even better than the other variants at stopping the patients' natural interferon production.

Since Synairgen's drug is effectively delivering a dose of interferon to the patients' lungs, I think that means it would do even more to help those infected with omicron than with the other variants.

If you type "Synairgen" into Google you'll see the option to 'Claim this knowledge panel' on the right. If you're verified as being authorised by Synairgen, it allows you to manually choose some of the data that's displayed by Google.
