I don't think so. That's when the last patient's 90-day responses will be recorded. So that would put the RNS at Wednesday morning at the earliest. But I think they might wait another week or two to get the 90 day data analysed and announced with everything else.

The last patient they recruited had their first dose 86 days ago, assuming they started it on 10th November. And I think it's fair to assume that the effort involved in a double-blind trial goes out the window if some results are published before it's completed.

I think that's the most likely reason we're still waiting for the results.

The 11th November RNS clearly says:

"Once the final patients have completed the initial 35-day trial period, quality assurance and statistical analysis will be completed."

"Day 35 data will be reported in the first instance followed by the long COVID results which will be collected until Day 90."

So analysis began in mid-December and could arrive at any time.

The findings have been published on Springer Nature’s pre-print server and are currently being peer-reviewed. This one's worth keeping an eye on, especially for those who still believe masks don't work.

No, Activ-2 is primarily to test the effects of combined/multiple therapies.

Synairgen has already completed trials that establish if it is 1) an effective treatment, and 2) equally effective when administered at home.

I get the point he was trying to make, but I disagree with it. If a virus mutates, spreads quicker and renders some drugs useless, I consider that unfortunate even if it means I make more money.

Don't get me wrong, I like having more money. But I'd rather be able to sleep at night.

You're right. They should be focussing on the dozen or so parties they had and then lied about.

I think it's smarter to give themselves the weekend to check everything's lined up rather than rush to finish their homework the night before it's handed in, and the Sunday patent filing seems to suggest that the company agrees.

If nothing else, it's the best way to ensure no news leaks in the last few hours.

You're right. But every single one of Synairgen's trial RNSes have arrived at 7am. So there are still ways of working out a most-likely outcome.

I think a Monday RNS is most likely. Here's why:

The patent application that was granted last week was filed on Sunday 19th June, the day before the Phase 2 results were announced. A Monday RNS gives them over 48 hours to coordinate everything like patent applications, recruitment, arranging press releases etc, so they're all ready to go when the results are revealed. But a midweek RNS would only give them an evening to finalize that stuff.

February, early-March or mid-March.

That's an interesting opinion. But why have you ruled out February, early-March and mid-March?

Doesn't it seem odd that Brooke's spouse just spent around £18k on 8500 shares when she already has options on 113,000 of them at an exercise price of 1p each?

I can't imagine many scenarios where that would be a worthwhile investment.

Might make sense to filter everyone apart from Skippy just for today.
