He's got a point though.
Gerard seems to do nothing more than hint that there's good news coming up (wink, wink) then remain silent when it doesn't actually materialize. Feel free to disagree.
I can't speak for anyone else, but until recently I didn't think we'd drop below my initial buy price from March 2020.
So it seemed like as good a place as any to keep some money.
So did they take on all those extra staff (and the expense) for nothing?
Kevinl1977 - "She says..."
Who does? Research is worthless is you don't know where the data originate from.
gjbrandon - " Why do you think we are main sponsors :-) "
Another hint that could be construed as good news even if nothing good comes of it?
I'm not sure, but it looks like DVRG is paying to be associated with an event that promotes their would-be competitors. Either that or they expect to win it and are actively seeking accusations of a conflict of interest? Weird.
Ok, that's enough stupid for today.
You guys keep bickering. I'll be back to disagree with everything you said sometime later this evening.
Has there been any actual progress or updates since I was last here in late 2021?
I'm not wading through T.Rat's constant posting of every Google search containing the phrase "water testing" just to find out we're still in the same place as last year.
AIM is about predicting what every other idiot is going to do so that you can do it before them.
Andym123 - "I could not find evidence for your touted 30% figure of Ukrainians wanting Russian rule"
You're right. It's around 20% of the separatist controlled region and only around 3% of the total Ukrainian population. My mistake. It had around 86% support in Crimea in 2014 though.

HPHQ - "Well I don't think the world is too concerned about Russia siding with the supposed 30%."
I think you'll find that many millions of people disagree. That's the point you're missing.
Aren't "the crisis" and "siding with the 30%" the same thing?
What else could you be blaming Russia for, moving their own troops within their own border?
HPHQ - "I never mentioned whether the Ukrainian people were right or wrong.. "
You implied Russia was entirely in the wrong for siding with the minority 30%. That was the entire crux of your argument.
HPHQ - "So yes, it is that simple"
You're saying that the majority must be right, and therefore the minority are 100% wrong and to blame for any disagreement. That's an oversimplification. Most people understand that.
HPHQ - "Its quite simple... The Ukraine want to join NATO because they don't want to be annexed"
No they don't.
I explained earlier today that just over 30% of Ukrainians want to join Russia. You can verify that yourself with a few seconds research. It's widely reported, not some fringe theory or biased view. The Donbas region is mainly Russian speaking and that's the territory where the conflict is ongoing. Everybody who's paid attention to the situation knows this. So that's why this isn't as simple as "It's all Russia's fault".
Andym123 - "I don’t think the ‘Separatist’ spin is terribly plausible that they chucked someone a ‘have a go guide,’ convenient as it may be."
Yes, I think you're right.
Docdaneeka - "Putin's concerns are fake - he knows the west and NATO pose no threat of any kind to Russia"
Of course they do.
70% of Ukrainians want to join NATO. The other 30% want to be part of Russia. 15,000 people have already died over it since 2013, and an ongoing war meets most people's definition of 'a threat'.

Umm... what do you think 'separatist' means? Because nobody on any side disputes that they are separatists.
There seems to be some confusion. I think we all agree that Putin's government's corrupt, undemocratic and a threat to Russian AND western lives.
But that doesn't mean it's sensible to disregard Russia's own safety concerns, such as the fear of having NATO missiles on its border. If there is a good reason to disregard their own concerns, what is it?
BrucieJamieson - "Who brought down a civilian plane and denied it"
Russia separatists. Why do you ask?
It seems like you're angry though.
I've re-read it and I'm not sure why that is.
