Newforms you said earlier that positive PCR tests then go to SNPSig to ID VOC and if they don’t, then they are sequenced. I figured this would be the case as it makes most sense but do you know it is actually what is happening?

B2H from something I listened to with S Peaco** (the Novacyt webinar maybe?) I think they have the sequencing up to 30% of positive cases now, as the number of cases fall, obviously the higher target of 100% should be more achievable.

Ad, any formal offer would have to be put to shareholders for a vote and the board would either recommend a vote for or against (against making it a hostile t/o). An informal offer could be put to GM in the first instance - if he rejected it then chances are it wouldn’t get much further because the odds are against a hostile takeover succeeding with the board against it and so few shares in institutional hands. Typically a potential buyer would, in advance of making hostile bid, get a chunk of votes secured though discussions with ii’s. That wouldn’t get them very far with NCYT as ii’s are only in single digit %. A formal, approved offer would of course be a different story.
