Surfie you compare to ODX and AVCT as if NCYT didn’t have its ‘days in the sun’ (and then some) last year - difference is they have yet to prove themselves with actual financial results like we have. It’s a very weird time at the moment, media coverage supports the fact that there are lots of investors new to the market, with time in their hands to constantly oversee the SP of their chosen stocks (often mainly day trading with little regard for fundamentals). Coupled with the market behaving strangely due to the economic situation thanks to covid it’s a very strange and unpredictable mix with too many impatient rainbow chasers. Not all of the fault for SP can be put at GM’s door.

If the BOD received a formal offer (as opposed to an informal one that they rejected that we would never know about) then they have to put it to shareholders and either recommend it or not recommend it. Not recommending would mean hostile t/o. Typically the buyer would get insto support to vote in favour before doing this

Deas I don’t think there would be any obligation for the company to inform the market of an offer if they had refused to move forward with discussions based on the offer price. It would then be down to the prospective buyer to mount a hostile bid, which in NCYT’s case, would be very difficult with so few shares in institutional hands.

That one I would say was down to company judgement, it’s nearly always a judgement call on whether rns required for stuff like that and the nomad wouldn’t have forced the issue (or indeed probably not even aware of it, they aren’t involved in day to day business).
