I had placed an order to sell some BP shares at 505 pence. However, following President Trump's words that have calmed the oil futures markets. I was thinking that my chance had gone. However, in his words, he suggested that the operation had at least another week to go. That seems like very wishful thinking, frankly! Allnthe Iranians have to do is not surrender for one week or so and then attack any crude transporters if they try crossing the Strait of Hormuz. This could continue for weeks, months or even years if the new Supreme Leader is so minded.

Even if the US stops bombing in a week, that is at least one week with no oilnshipments, so I can see the price edging up.
