i don't have non ISA cash to play with, so doesn't work for me. Plus the time allowed in these overnight raises is hardly user friendly if you need to move cash around to facilitate.

Primary bid is great for companies, useless for PIs. No ISA facility means it is unusable to many who, like me, are locxked out.

duke have a great business model, but like many BoDs, cannot resist raising and dragging down SP) for new capital. A simple build, wait, exit/realisation policy of organic growth would be much better s holder value imho.

If raises could be done at current SP, or a premium. I would have no problem. But every time, existing holders are shafted in a discounted raise.

Why do companies do this?

A sound business model, everything going well, just waiting for the sp to catch ip.

And they have to raise more, at a discount to a depressed price, because they cant resist an opportunity for 5 minutes.

And to rub more salt into the wound, private investors using an ISA are excluded by using ths Primarybid platform that doesnt cater for them.

This co has a great business model but its BoD clearly doesn't give a fig for shareholders.

If the business works, SP will follow. Rather a cash+ve business that's underrated than a cash-ve rampy share that constantly needs an eye on the exit.

As long as the mineperforms, publicity will take care of itself. A good update next week - no glitches, please!- and in following months, and with the obvious caveat re POG, SP will take care of itself. Marketing is fluff, cash is king.

As debt gets repaid, mine performs, and drilling shows likely LoM extension, valuation will follow.

That would be my preference, too, morphing into a divi payer. But BoD's act in their interests, which are often quite ST. I'll be v surprised if the NSR is not at least partly monetised prematurely. Look at the collar financing on SFR shares......they just couldn't wait.

Fwiw I think the most ;ikely scenario is that around or b4 production start up, the NSR, or part thereof, will be sold to a specialist royalty company.

Our CEO's business model is chucking cash at exploration, not collecting revenue streams. But any monetisation ofsuch a good asset should be very +ve for the SP, imho.

Nothing has changed, except Motheo is getting nearer to production, so getting closer to revenuess, and every day increasing the NPV. Project proceeding well. Copper price holding up, fundamentals sound.

This is worth at least ST's 38p target price today, just as it was a year ago.

Obtaining a FO does not derisk th asset, only the company.

i agree, funds are the concern now ; the licence extension removes a hufe unceertainty ; the shares are now investable, but the dependence on a FO still an issue.
I am sure there will be interest ; but the company's lack of capability to progress alone will not help its negotiating position.

Cash strapped eary stage miners are almost always at the mercy of the market when raising. Potential farminees oft use this as a bargaining chip, too. Raise at a premium is extremely rare.

The early capped royaly could kick in late 2023, but the others are at least 2 years away. I am sure that the uncapped royalties should be transformational for MTR, as long as we don't go for more and more innovative finance raisings on the back of them.
