There is nothing to suggest that the Swedish state is remotely inimidated by the possibility of legal action by a very small mineral exploration company with extremely limited funds. Certainly there is nothing to suggest they are intimated to the point in which they would be too scared to deny a mining concession. Pure conjecture and wishful thinking.
A further fall in production in January. This is becoming a very small scale oil company. Next stop AIM?
It reminds me of 1984, when in an episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Evil-Lyn and Skeletor had the following to say: Evil-Lyn: Skeletor, this has gone on for too long Skeletor: I am sorry, Evil-Lyn, but capturing the precious elements contained within the ground of Eternia is more important than the personal comfort of those who serve me You can see the quite remarkable similarity with our situation. Evil-Lyn, like some BEM investors, cannot wait much longer. However, the more determined investors, like Skeletor, do not care for the personal discomfort that maybe troubling others.
Indeed, it is a risk to not de-risk as the risk is sufficient to ensure that de-risking is never redundant to taking a risk. But what is risk? Risk is a situation in which we do not know what will happen and how any choice we make will affect the future. In order to say anything is 100% certain you must be able to say it will never happen in the future. As nobody can predict the future, certainty can never be greater than 99.999999999.....%. As such everything is a risk all the time and we are all mere BEM agnostics. DYOR. IMO. ATB.
The annual Beowulf Mining shareholder survey asked shareholders about their views on the recent developments. This years survey is bleak reading for those invested: 'I don't see how reindeers are so important, they are just a big goat aren't they?' wrote one confused investor. 'The only way I think I will see iron come out of that ground is if I see Sir Ian McKellen hovering above the mine dressed as Magneto, raising it from the soil in a bitter rage' said one dejected investor. 'I keep have a repeating dream that I come home to find Kurt Budge in bed with my wife. He is boasting about the size of his high grade assets. I can't work out if that is a good or bad sign' said another investor.
Oh he’s back already and minus the pretend blocks. That was a short-lived role I inherited, but as he is back I will revert to type. It’s a shame, I rather enjoyed posting whatever thought first came into my head and the fact that none of it had to be remotely true, was quite liberating. When he next throws his toys out of his pram I want the role back.
For every share bought/sold there is share sold/bought. The number of buyers/sellers does not have to be equal. Please get it right. We have enough trolls on here trying to damage our investment, we do not want to give them anymore ammunition. We all know the Aktie/AIM ‘gap’ is a vortex in which dark forces are free to operate. DYOR.
Calm before the storm. The BEM winds will start picking up next week followed by the BEM scoping study tornado. Watch out MMs, shorters, trolls, Sami, CAB, the Greens and all other haters - you are about to be blown out of town. IMO.
More BEM shares because people are so hungry for them. Hold on tight this about to blow!
Everybody knows this is being held back by the market makers, AIM casino innit! All aboard the BEM express , next stop scoping study - Choooooo! Chooooo!
Yeah you better be in this before the weekend, this is going to explode next week - boom!
Yes, I feel we are lacking the emotional and conspiratorial nonsense that is so endemic on discussion boards. If I have to take on the role of chief bedwetter, then so be it. I have my straw man arguments locked and loaded and my sense of victimhood at full capacity. I will patrol the board and shutdown any alternative points of view. Beware!
Well thats because the market makers, through the dark arts, are conspiring to fleece shareholders. If they weren't so evil we would be in double digits by now and of course the higher we are before the decision the higher it will go after a positive decision (its like a head start). Also take note of the number of buys vs sells because when people really want shares they will buy more shares than people are willing to sell (and so like Cash in the Attic prices get bid up when there is a room full of people competing to buy a rare item). Dont forget that there is poor liquidity because shareholders are so confident that they are holding onto their shares with a vice like grip. I FEEL that this is all true, so don't even try and question my beliefs by bullying me with facts and reason. I will be like 'hey troll, get a life, haven't you got better things to do than have a reasoned opinion that is different to mine'. Then I will report you to the LSE board monitors. Then I will warn all the others investors, I will be like 'watch out for people who are not even invested here, they have their own agendas for bringing the share price down'. Then I will finish by saying something about karma and the bad posters getting what's coming to them.
..... and he’s back within a few days of ANOTHER theatrical ‘never to return again’ departure. Maybe he ought to stop insulting other posters who reasonably question his posts before he claims to be the abused.
Anybody who holds a very large percentage share of any company will always have a ‘problem’ with liquidity, that is a innate part of being a large shareholder. If most large Apple shareholders wanted to offload all at once, they would have a liquidity issue. I assume anybody with a significant BEM shareholding will realise that they will have to sell over time in order to get a particular price (assuming a positive decision). It may well be the case that the SP doesn’t rise as high as many think due to the ‘desperation’ of so many to get shut as soon as possible. But this is why SP prediction post-concession is a nonsense - there are too many variables with too many unknowns. Also what people say and what people do are very different things. My guess has always been a positive decision produces an SP of over 10p without any clue of how long any rise would be sustained for. I also have no idea what sort of quantities will be able to be sold during that period. This is reasonable position with the information available. Any double digit price would be a very significant multiple for myself and any significant drop might get my money back. People have very different averages and mentalities, they will react differently. Anybody who says they do know how all these variables coalesce post-decision is talking utter nonsense and should be mocked accordingly.
Why is anybody theatrically announcing their departure from a share board? In any case, he will be reading every post and if the SP shoots up he will be back on here crowing about his profits. The real question is: who will replace him as the David Icke of the BEM board?
Are you the bid:order reminder service for this share? Why don’t you just post what you can see out of your window, that would be just as useful.
The opportunity cost of being invested in this share is quite shocking, never mind any dilution. However, many investors continue to invest here. Maybe in a few more years they will be proven correct. It is an interesting investment story but it never seems to deliver on the basics. Maybe it is just a share to be traded.
No, your posts don’t get slammed. You repeatedly post something that is factually incorrect, you are corrected and then you reply with insults and victimhood. You are quite happy to call other people idiots and label their posts rubbish, but you are not so good at taking it back are you?
Bad state of affairs, a company that just doesn’t go forward. On the bright side the SP had held up remarkably well all things considered. I would have thought mid 20s would be possible but not even near, low 30s very solid. Many must still believe in Foo and the gang. I don’t and would want a greater ‘Foo discount’ before I bought in. If the government pays up then this would provide potential for a massive sp reversal , maybe this is what swing traders are betting on, good luck to them.
