I also liked the reference to Tandy and 100mt open pit @0.5% which Keith noted in itself wouldn’t be feasible to mine as a stand alone operation but it will help bootstrap getting Alpala up and running by providing a cheap revenue stream whilst Alpala is being constructed

Keith also highlighted the potential to reduce capex by 35% on Alpala which would and will I’m guessing make a very very positive impact on the PFS/DFS

Spoofing typically involves flooding markets with orders that traders don't intend to execute to trick others into moving prices in a desired direction. The practice has become a focus for prosecutors and regulators in recent years after lawmakers specifically prohibited it in 2010. While submitting and canceling orders isn't illegal, it is unlawful as part of a strategy intended to dupe other traders.
To me this Looks a lot like the blocks we have on the order book which miraculously seem to disappear when they look like they are going to get taken out! Pure and simple manipulation of the Solg share price and it stinks!

So they regard the assays as “Stellar” which I’m not sure I would totally agree with but it’s a bit better than “showing potential “ LOL :)

DBW - Yes nice in fact very very nice! 2026 is only 5 years away so the prospect of production starting by then is mouth watering especially when you consider the transformational effect it will have on the share price! One of the worlds largest Tier 1 mines commencing production - just imagine what the MCap will be? Many many multiples of where it is now! It’s easy to see why so many institutions wanted to get a piece of the action at the recent placing! They know that in 4 or 5 years they can multibag on their buy in price. What’s not to like about investing in Solg - apart from maybe needing a bit of patience! I for one would much prefer either a buy out next year after the DFS or taking this to production in 4 or 5 years (possibly as part of a JV) which would surely see an SP well well north of £1 as opposed to a hostile cheap bid in the next 6 month's which may only achieve a sale around 60p which would be daylight robbery IMHO!

As they are running the DFS in tandem with the PFS this comes as no surprise and given a statement made recently along the lines of “The DFS will follow shortly after the PFS” I can see a scenario whereby the DFS is published in Q1 next year which would truely put a rocket under the share price!

The interesting thing for me is if you add up the additional shares taken by BHP, NCM & BR it comes to approximately 62m shares which is roughly 30% of the 200m placing which means that approximately 140m shares representing about 7% of issued shares now sit with unknown and most likely new investors including institutions and possibly other mining majors. This would help explain the companies excitement about the new holders on the share register. Just wish we knew who they were!

BHP & NCM have bought sufficient shares to MAINTAIN their %age holding hence why their is on RNS in relation to their % holding in Solg which hasn’t changed

Add - Spot on! It comes as no surprise to me that none of the new major investors have a declarable stake above 3% as this was pretty much impossible given the amount of shares offered in the placing combined with the fact that existing holders such as BHP/NCM could maintain their %age holding. On the positive side Solg have stated that they were very happy with the take up by a number of large institutions which I think bodes well for reaffirming the quality of the exploration assets possessed by Solgold. All very positive IMO

They are increasing their exposure to copper through several MEGA PROJECTS. He goes on to say how excited he is even if only one of the projects delivers and how copper will have its day in the sun towards the end of this decade.

Wonder which Mega Projects he is referring to? There are very very few such copper projects so not too much of a stretch to come to the conclusion that one of them could be Alpala?

Thanks RK. I was basing my comments on the “Google Finance” SP but this doesn’t give details at individual trading level and as the LSE site is always about 30 mins behind the real time trades it’s perhaps not surprising that my assumption was wrong! Naughty boys step for me then :)

Sp 27.98 @ 15.55 dropped to 25.67 @ 16.00 then back to 27.99 @ 16.05. Now if that’s not MM’s taking the proverbial p££s I don’t know what is!
