Seconded Cookie. Many thanks DBW! Clearly DC has been very very busy since he took the reigns and based on this interview I’m liking pretty much everything he had to say! Some have perhaps rightly questioned why the content of this interview wasn’t incorporated in an RNS? My view on this ( which I might be wrong about) is that there are pretty strict rules on what you can state in an RNS ( think we fell foul of the Ontario Board a few years ago?) hence why this isn’t being published in an RNS IMHO.

Have been on 3rd Feb (2021) and 12th Feb (2020) so probably not long to wait now for an update on drilling / assays. In the meantime let’s all chill and stop all the paranoia and conspiracy theory ramblings which aren’t helping anyone other than day traders and Institutions who just love a good bargain! Well whoever he or she may be the one constant in their Solg posting history is of a “Glass half Empty” mentality. In fact most of Ortherncopper’s posts have a negative spin either overtly or often more subtly. So whether he’s in his 20’s sat at home in his undies or in his 60’s driving his Volvo either way his negative agenda on Solg is very transparent!

Really interesting especially the bit about the price paid for assets at different points on the journey to production and your extrapolation of what this might look like based on Solgs MRE data. It’s so refreshing to read a post which adds real value to our understanding of the journey we are on rather than inane “he said she said posts” which are so tedious and add zero value! Hi RICH, You say “Surely we haven’t even had a proper value for Alpala until the PFS comes along in Q2” That’s exactly my point. If we are valued in the region of £500 to £600m based purely on MRE’s & a PEA on Alpala then what might we be valued at if we had MRE 2&3 for Pov and maybe an MRE 1 on Rio by the end of Q2 ( which might be overly optimistic)

Even some of our brokers openly attribute only about £70m of value for “Non Alpala” concessions which is why it’s important to get as much recognised value as possible from the likes of Pov & Rio before a bid lands which is why IMO the PFS timeline has been stretched and stretched to enable as much drilling as possible on these concessions before it’s publication after which it will be open season on Solg and the question will be who will blink first?

All of course conjecture on my part but to me it makes sense.

Totally agree TheItalian. I said words to the same effect well over a year ago! BHP are a global conglomerate with huge institutional shareholders who would not take kindly to taking an undue risk with their investment. It’s one thing to bid several hundred million for an acquisition target but quite another to bid several BILLIONS which would require a much greater degree of de-risking such as an independently verified PFS and I believe this is part of Citi’s defence to delay the PFS on Alpala until a proper value can be attributed to Solgs other high priority targets such as Pov and Rio.

Yes Pads still got the Infestors on lockdown and by the looks of it there are lots of matches with Grims list. Happy New Year to one and all even those on my list below who might turn over a new leaf with a New Years resolution to become good, honest folk - then again pigs might actually fly :)

Yeah great to see you posting again Pads! One of you is worth a hundred HappyClapperHarrys on this board so hope you stick around which is more than can be said for the aforementioned infestation who I dispatched to my trusty trash can some time ago and would urge all the good folks on this board to do the same! For someone who CLAIMS to hold 500,000 shares Zoros has a strange way of conducting himself on this board by constantly running the company down including his latest rant about the judgement by the constitutional court of an exploration project partly owned by CGP where he tries to infer this could impact Cascabel despite the article in question stating quite clearly that Cascabel has all the necessary permits unlike the CGP project! Zoros is one of the most untrustworthy posters on this BB and as I have pointed out on a number of occasions is disingenuous and an out & out narcissist! 500,000 shares my ar** he clearly isn’t currently invested in Solg and would like the SP to decline so he can line his pockets at any cost even if he has to scr&w other good folks to do it! What a low life you are Zoros! Previously had you filtered and back into my bottom crawling trash can you go!

This decision does not affect the Cascabel project, as Cascabel is not in a protected forest and is already in the advanced (economic evaluation) stage of exploration and has an environmental license obtained after prior community consultations were undertaken pursuant to terms of reference approved by ME

Just for clarity and accuracy Quady highlighted the 0.16% cut off grade but failed to mention that this was purely for the Open Pit ore and in fact the Underground ore has been estimated using a cut off grade of 0.28% which is a higher cut off grade than Alpala which uses 0.21% as the cut off. So in my book at best he was being economical with the truth and at worst he was being purposely misleading!

Is 0.28% vs 0.21% for Alpala so Quady’s point is bol****ks!

If I recall correctly this isn’t the first time you’ve been on this board spreading doom & gloom and the last time you did it a number of posters called you out for it including me! You were and still are so transparent with a clear agenda to sow doubt and discord hoping the SP will drop so you can pick some up some shares on the cheap! What makes me laugh is you are clearly not invested in Solg and yet you come on here spouting your bias negativity in the hope of feathering your own nest! I just hope that all the other good folk on this board recognise you for the Charlatan you are and put you in the trash can as I have!

When I first read the article I didn’t for one minute think that Solg were being paid $430m by the Ecuadorean Govt but rather that Solg had agreed to pay this sum to Ecuador over a period of 10 years. Nevertheless this did quicken my pulse as it is a massive endorsement of Solgold by Lasso’s Government demonstrating their approval of our plans for Cascabel which must surely point towards a very positive PFS which they most likely have been privy to! IMO this is excellent news for Solg and it’s investors

Why in heavens name you want BHP to gain more influence over the board and Solg I have no idea! If you are indeed invested in Solg ssmith-trader you might as well go outside and throw yourself under a bus as this is the likely outcome for your investment in Solg if BHP gain control of the board!
