I bought into here on the Monday after the Saudi attack looking for a leveraged play on the PoO. Cleary it hasn't come good so far but I continue to hold. Given I was just looking for a play on an increasing oil price I admittedly did little research. I've dug a bit deeper today and I've not put off by what I've seen, mainly that the debt is coming down and production losts look low.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, many here claim the business is significantly undervalued. I have little knowledge of the O&G sector but comparing PMO (rightly or wrongly) to the likes of BP, particularly on an EV/EBITDA basis, it does look 'cheap'. Given the debt looks comfortable, why do people think the stock is so discounted against peers? Balanced opinions most appreciated. Thanks.
