From the recent 20024/25 Ministry of Minerals budget review I see there is mention of Rukwa. I don't know if it's been posted before.

During the budget several important issues were raised .

Tanzania's significant helium deposits, especially in lake Rukwa, require a strategic and expedited extraction approach .Parliamentarians emphasised the need to capitalise swiftly on this global asset through a well planned extraction process to optimise benefits for the country.

They certainly seem keen to get things moving.

How deep do those source rocks that produce the helium go ? From what I can find out the earth's crust is approximately 37 kilometres thick under Rukwa. Do they go most of the way down? If so you've got a large fractured gathering area that feeds the helium into the faults. More research needed.

Toffers ,I suggest you go away and do some research into the Tanzanian laws regarding funding a project when it moves from the exploration stage to a producer.

Could it be that we get some information on the framework agreement that has to be put in place in relation to the awarding of a production licence.

Was East Africa Holdings Ltd incorporated late last year to act as the project company should a mining licence be successfully granted?

Hi Pebbles, yes it will offset that cost and others during H1.

Exactly P100, there will be £19.8 million credited back to the profit and loss account.

P100, the warranty provision was put through the 2020 year end accounts under cost of sales .This also included included cost of inventories, labour and freight etc , which all came off the top line profits before tax for the year 2020. The most recent set of accounts still show the £19.8 million set aside if needed. After today's rns that provision is no longer needed.

The £19.8 million set aside in the accounts as a warranty provision should now move back into the cash total in the accounts where it originally came from.

If you scroll down to item 17.2 this link gives the hearing time today as 3 pm. Some of the cases you can request a link to view , but that doesn't seem possible with Novacyts case.

Hi Kaeren, there was an updated guidance notice put out last year that relates to the dismantling of COVID test kits in prisons. It runs until later this year.

If those prisoners get any of those Exsig Direct kits I hope someone has trained them how to handle the optimisers. They were certainly above the skill set of some lab staff.

I noticed this statement in the accounts under Other Operating Expenses relating to the £1.8 million spent on the DHSC dispute in 2023.

DHSC contract dispute costs relate to legal and professional fees and product storage costs incurred in the ongoing dispute.

Are the DHSC billing Novacyt for storage of evidence ?
