Hi Pierrick, I've just done a search which shows that the name Novacyt has been cleared by the examiner for trademarking in the USA. The next step involves the name being published in the trademark gazette on the 18/07/23 for public viewing over a period of 30 days .If there are no objections during this time it will then go on to final registration. This can take 3 to 4 months from when the trademark name was first published in the gazette .Looking at the records the application was first received on May 14th 2021. Twenty six months to get this far ,they certainly don't rush in the land of Uncle Sam.
Bivda recently published a white paper relating to the procurement of COVID tests in the UK. If you scroll down to page 113 there's a section on disputes featuring ODX and Abingdon. Novacyt get mentioned, but not much can be said as it's a live dispute. If you use this link you can download the white paper.

I see Yourgene appointed a corporate transformation specialist Andrew Leeser back in January. Looking at his track record a good percentage of companies he has worked with soon end up turning out the lights for a final time. Hopefully he is currently adding a more positive page to his career history.
Hi Kaeren, you asked if any Novacyt staff had joined Yourgene. Becky Underwood joined a year ago as product manager followed two months later by Natasha Maximchuk as a sales manager.

PI101, how's your research going? I was quite shocked when you posted that you were going to do some. Make sure you let us know how you go on,it will make a big change from all those off the top of your head statements you make.
How much is the patent box tax relief worth on the above . Novacyt were informed last March that the tests targeting this gene qualified for patent tax relief ,which can be backdated to October 2020 when patent application was first submitted. Tax rates on the above work out at 10p in the £ instead of the the standard 19p in the £ that was in place when Novacyt paid their taxes for the profitable years of 2020 and 2021. How many covid tests targeting the Orf1 Gene did Novacyt sell in that profitable period from October 2020 to the end of 2021?
