This is the job vacancy that Prodrill posted for a rig manager on a six months contract in Africa a fortnight ago.They provided several of the staff for the last two wells that were drilled. The big question is will this be the manager for the H2 work that HE1 intend to complete?

Last october it was noted that HE1 had been in discussions with the Tanzanian authorities regarding overlapping licences at Eyasi .They reached agreement with TPDC to jointly work on the overlapping licences . This was never reported in an RNS.

I noticed at the end of the article that HE1 were represented by their country manager Fidels Lekule in these meetings. An internet search gives a name of Fidelis Lekule as a country manager who has also worked for Ophir Energy for the last 14 years to further their interests in Tanzania. Five years ago Ophir were taken over by Medco Energi Global from the far East .

HE1 have said that said that the far East is a market they would look to target with any helium sales ,so I was wondering if there was more in the background that we don't know about.

Hi, in the aim admission document it does say that that the company will release any TR1 holding notifications as per AIM rules.

In answer to an earlier question Noble are drilling roughly 50/60 miles to the north of HE1 on the west side of lake Rukwa . Both these sites are in the Rukwa rift basin , which stretches 300 kilometres north to south and is some 50 kilometres wide .

Those basement rocks that HE1 have drilled into go down for approximately 10 kilometres. They are fractured and intersected by faults which all act as conduits for the gases that are produced driven by the heat from below. The big question is how do you quantify the resource? How far will the gases/liquids migrate to find a way to the surface . It's also worth remembering that helium has been finding a way to the those surface seeps and readings up to 10% have been recorded.

I wonder if Equinor(formerly Statoil) are one of the companies that HE1 have reached out to . Considering they funded the helium research study that encompassed Tanzania ,recent news from HE1 won't have gone unnoticed . They currently operate in Tanzania onshore and offshore with some info in this link.

Well worth reading this helium study, the second half of which covers Tanzania. Funding was provided by Statoil ,who have now been taken over by Equinor. Contributions to the study were also made by HE1.

The company was set up at the same time as the previous well results came out . It remains to be seen in what capacity they are going to use the holding company.

Has anyone ever mentioned the holding company that was set up on the same day as the previous well results were released in November?
