Well one things for sure they are keeping the HR department busy at Yourgene with four more job's added this week ,making a total of twelve vacancies as it stands. Hopefully the update in a few days will give us a picture what is happening with this side of the business as they clearly have products that are marketable.
It's also worth looking at the gene synthesis and oncology testing markets where Ranger Tech could be used for enriched sample extraction and prep. The gene synthesis market is forecast for high growth over the next few years with some info in this market report.

Surprising what else you see on government websites regarding contracts that have been awarded. I've just found an award that was published last September for a company to provide edisclosure services for P D with the gov being the buyer.
WBA, I thought with your medical background you would understand the products and contracts already in place at Yourgene, obviously not . Why were the directors of Yourgene still so confident last december when the share price went south?
Hi Kaeren, thanks for the link . Some of the trolls seem to air brush the acquisition of Yourgene out of the plan going forwards.
On a separate note the other company where LR is a director has been a good earner this week.
Hi Kaeren, there's a new job for a product development engineer with Yourgene health Canada that has been posted this week .It looks like they are aiming to develop additional features with the Ranger Tech and new assays as well .

Hope this post doesn't get removed by some sensitive soul.
Hi Wilson, just replying on the subject of the webinar. This was held on the 5/12/23 and was open to companies who are seeking guidance on the new ivd regulations ( clinical trials etc). Looking at one of the current job vacancies at the Yourgene genomics services lab it gives details about working with companies and helping to bring their products to market. From what I can see this looks like a new venture for the lab as is currently only accredited for nitp and COVID testing.
Good to see Geneplus promoting the Light Bench alongside the likes of Thermofisher and Roche in the trade show in Thailand recently.

Another lab that's seen how good Ranger tech is .

Hi Kaeren, under the terms of the DHSC contract Primer Design had to guarantee that they could meet the volume of products needed for the first contract . They also had to guarantee that if the second part of the contract was awarded they would be able to supply these products too. At the time there was long lead times when purchasing reagents as they were in short supply because of the pandemic. Hence Novacyt had to write off £ millions of pounds worth of stock they had bought to be able to guarantee future supply. Personally I can't see them settling for anything less than the full amount from the DHSC having already writing off this large amount of money.
Plenty on this link about the use of the IONA test in the NHS.
