Given that there are only 2 working days left in Sept, it would be neither particularly suprising if it ran over slightly, nor particularly concerning. Agree with others that you're setting yourself, and others, up for disappointment, and not for the first time. Chill.

WSBN was always a gamble, at best, and remains so. Sure, they're next to GGP, but they have nothing, yet. On the other hand, KEFI is an investment, priced as if it were a gamble. I know where I'd rather be.

Agreed. With a much better SP, a raise becomes less painful, even if there is one, which there may not be.

Previously I had hoped for 1.5p following sign-off, and wasn't certain that would be reached (it's all very well banging on about NPVs, but the market is a voting machine in the short term...) but the sector has caught on fire at just the right time for us, and the SP is well on the way to that target already. Given that there is now a clear appetite for the shares, sign-off should see us over the 2p level I would have thought, and at that point, a raise is nothing to be overly concerned about, given we'd only need to raise 1/4 the number of shares to raise the same amount as we would have to have done at 0.5p.

If EQX and MTL really are talking, then the subject could also be a takeover of MTL... just a thought. Ross Beaty knows the Nic assets are good, used to be a shareholder in CNR, and ended up buying Calibre. They're already diversified, so a little bit of jurisdictional risk wouldn't bother them unduely.

I'd be against taking on additional Nic resources. For one thing, we have enough on our plate - let's digest some of what we have first. For another, I believe one of the reasons why Calibre wasn't interested in Condor was too much jurisdictional risk. They wanted to diversify. When the time comes for further M&A, I'd be in favour of adding a third jurisdiction. That reduces risk, and reduces the risk-discount investors will apply to MTL's share price.

Appreciate your enthusiasm Lee, but bear in mind that a rising tide floats all boats. With that in mind, many gold equities are doing rather well right now, so it is hardly fair to characterise those who seek returns elsewhere as "3-year old children". Wouldn't hurt you to at least have a look at a few other options yourself, spread your risk...

How to get filtered with a single post...

There are 9.3bn shares in issue currently, and I'd expect a few more by the time we hit production. Still good NPV/share numbers but if you're basing your calculations on 1.8bn shares, then you're a ways out.

Been going on a while now, and is very healthy IMHO. An awful lot of sceptisicm around this share still, perhaps with good reason, but it seem apparent to me that the tide has turned, so the more doubters, stale bulls and traders we can get rid of, while maintaining the SP, the better. New entrants will obviously want to exit at a higher price than today, and the more still sitting on the sidelines, the more fuel there will be for the launch we're all hoping for. Fingers crossed and good luck everyone.

My valuation would be a P/E-based one. Take your expected annual profit and multiply by an appropriate P/E ratio. What is an appropriate P/E ratio? Well, that's the million-dollar question. For a single-asset, single jurisdiction miner, I'd expect it to be on the low side, say 5-10. I CBA to to do the calcs for you, but you can run the numbers easy enough yourself.

The big unknown here is that the gold equities bull market has started. That in itself may push up valuations beyond what many have come to expect over the last few years.

... you can't just take the total resource ozs and multiply by profit to get a MCap valuation! That's just not how anything works! Go look at the valuations of some other producers to get a better idea. That profit will be spread over the entire life of the mine, just for starters...

No, I'm not invested, but no I'm also not de-ramping. I do keep my eye on a number of equities in the gold space and while congratulations are due on your drilling results, the SP performance to date and the prospects going forward, do try to keep your feet on the ground. Disappointment awaits otherwise.

There are a number of new accounts, but it seems clear to me that not all are new people. EI seems to be a new account setup specifically to spread negativity about Kefi. To be fair, KEFIGOLD appears to be a similar account, except that this one is setup specifically to spread positivity about Kefi. I have no doubt that both are very familiar with Kefi from way before their accounts appeared. Fun and games!

Watch on 1.25 or even 1.5 times speed Magic-orb. HAA does speak quite slowly I've found. Not a complaint, but I tend to speed up the interviews a tad if I can.
