Good post freefaller. My 2p is to try not to get emotionally involved in the first place. Too many folks react emotionally to a contrary opinion, and when all's said and done, that kind of reaction hurts your performance. Falling in love with a stock is also getting emotionally involved, and as you point out, the SP reflects the market, not necessarily the company. Keep your own counsel and DYOR. You can't call yourself an investor otherwise.

To be fair, at least this site does have (somewhat impartial, I assume) mods. ADVFN doesn't appear to, as far as I can see, and as for Telegram... less said the better!

All this speculation based on a magazine article. I respectfully suggest that the company's official RNSs carry more weight, the latest of which states:

"Signing of definitive Project documentation to start this month, with full Project financial close expected in September 2025, triggering full Project development"

It may happen this month of course, but expectations should be some time in September. The copy for the article could well have been approved some weeks ago, so potentially both unofficial and out-of-date, in as much as it pertains to precise timelines.

I'm an ex-holder of WSBN (7-ish average buy price, to around 13-ish average sell price IIRC (and yes, that's whole pence, not fractions)), and that is just not true!

All good for a gamble, if you know what you're getting yourself into, but keep your wits about you.

Any share that moves as much as this, up or down, attracts the attention of those who, like myself, have no prior experience with the company. If up, will the momentum continue? If down, maybe a good buying opportunity?

In this case, reading some of the messages on here today, I can't help but feel, as an impartial observer, that I wouldn't touch this company with a bargepole at present. The AGM antics, along with the messages from goldbug2, scream "steer clear".

Perhaps they will recover, as MTL did (a share in which I am currently invested as a result of an aquisition they made, not as one who held through the dark days), but it's no better than a coin-toss as things stand. If you're a gambler, by all means stick around, but if you're only still here out of sunk costs and/or loss aversion, I'd urge you to look for a better place for your money.

Best wishes to all, I mean that sincerly, no matter what happens, but it's not a pretty sight at present, and there could easily be more downside to come.

Hard enough to predict share prices on short timescales. For such an established asset as gold, you need to look at long-term trends. A few months here or there is not much better than random chance. But the 1 year, 5 year and 10 year charts all point in the same direction, and it ain't down...

You're the only one who seems to have this allergic reation to such discussion Major. No-one else seems bothered by it, so I humbly suggest it's a "you" problem. Anyone who does get put off investing in a gold minor by such discussion on a random internet BB shouldn't be in charge of their own money anyway.

While frustrating that the final, final, final sign-off will take a bit longer, the reality it it's just one milestone of many. A big one, I grant you, but far from the only one. Those with eyes to see can see that TK development has *already started*. The actual question we all want to know, is when will the SP go up! It might be that the final, final, final sign-off will be that catalyst, but it also may not. Either way, I'd expect that there is already more than enough evidence that this is happening to allow the more risk-tolerant II's to get an early leg-up on their competition right now, with more conservative ones coming in later, and possibly at a higher price. Much like PIs, in that sense.

Stringer: 63 posts out of 70 (90%) over the last 30 days on KEFI, and you don't even hold shares? Got your priorities wrong mate. Spend your time and energy on something you actually have a stake in.

In all seriousness, not only do none of us actually have much idea what the SP will be in the immediate aftermath of sign-off (I suspect there'll be a lot of churn and volatilty, whatever the actual SP range), but I concur with MF and others that selling just as the corner is turned is probably not the best plan, and that goes double if you've held for many painful years up to now. It's a trait of PIs, that they hold on to a loser for too long and sell a winner at the first sign of a profit. That is going to happen to many here I think, and this is why PIs generally lose money.

Whatever the past history, this is surely the right time to buy KEFI, with a vew to holding to production at least, and ideally with a year or two's worth of cash generation in the bank. TW can do as he likes, and I wouldn't blame anyone for derisking some in the 1's, but holding the bulk for the longer term is what real investors would do IMHO, and that is what I'm planning to do (as I aspire to be a so-called "real investor" lol).
