I will eat my hat if there are any dividends before the end of the first year of full production. And a raise just to provide funds for a divi sounds silly because it is. No offence, but I think you need to move on from this idea. It ain't gonna happen.

No crystal ball, but I am also quietly steeling myself for a disappointing SP immediately following sign-off. The value is there, we all know it, but the market may still take convincing. II's may not jump in straight-away, or all at once. It's not much longer until Christmas though, and if your 2-3p comes in by then, I'll be very happy.

Doubt there'll be many who can answer that. I guess you're a HNW investor who participated in CNR fundraises? Don't think they were ever offered to us mere mortals! I guess your tax situation may be effected by when you exercise them? If that's not an issue, then my uneducated opinion would be to leave them as late as possible, as you suggest, so you can have a high confidence that they will be a net gain to you.

To be completely honest though, if you're in a postion to own such things, but aren't sure what to do with them, you probably need proper financial advice, not numpties like myself on bulletin boards!

What a lot of pointless words (no offence intended to anyone in particular, and yes, I know what irony is, thanks for asking). It went up too far, too fast and so it's come back down again. Hardly unexpected. No conspiracy theories needed to explain it. On the flip side, while some may claim the sun shines out of Darren's backside, when all's said and done, he only runs the company, he doesn't control the SP, so we remain at the mercy of the short-term whims of the market, just like any other share.

The worst of it is probably over though, I'd be suprised if there was much more downside to be had from here, so time to settle in for the longer game now that the SP (appears to have) stabilised.

Fair play stringer, you've gone with your gut and made a decision, but I think you've missed the change in wind direction. You may of course be able to buy not much higher than this shortly after sign-off or it may double instantly, that remains to be seen, but I've made the opposite choice to you - I think this time is different, and I have plenty of shares to back up that view. From here, any variaions in timelines are likely to be minimal, while the potential reward on offer remains compelling. So, for me, it's better to load up and wait, than risk missing out. Each to their own though.

Paying a dividend out of the proceeds of a fund raise? No, sorry, think you're barking up the wrong tree on that one. Divis, if any, will be paid out of actual profits, once we have some.

Price targets without even the slightest attempt at justification are pointless and meaningless. We get it, you've bought shares and so therefore want the price to go up, as we all do, but posting dumb stuff like this doesn't help anyone.

What's really bizzare is that bounty, and no less than 3 upticks, feel as they do, and yet are still here, posting and ticking away! Clearly badly hurt in the past, and yet unable to move on. Even if you assume that they've called it correctly this time (which I don't), do they really have nothing better to do with their time and energy than to stick around here? That alone speaks to a serious lack of judgement and emotional control, to the point that I wouldn't trust their views, before you even get started on their actual arguments (which, at best, amount to no more than the future will be as dismal as the past). I hope that, even if I'm hurt badly, I won't allow the experience to define and control me quite as much as these poor folk.

Qnard, yeah sure, but it would be pence lost. 100:1 consolidation, worst case scenario you lose 99 shares (per account, I suppose). At today's price, that's only 55p! So I share your OCD, but I don't think it's a serious financial consideration!

doze: The total amount paid in dividends as a proportion of the MCap is what you need to look at. Per share could vary depending on total shares in issue (taking further dilution and/or consolidation into account), but the overall yield is the relevent part.

Oh strewth. I try to be patient, but it's hard sometimes. If the market was always right, you literally wouldn't be able to make any money as an investor. The SP would always be priced "correctly", based on the information available at the time, and you'd have no opportunity to buy low or sell high.

If you can't even grasp the basics, you shouldn't be buying shares in the first place. You'll end up losing money, one way or another. Stick to cash ISAs and Premium Bonds.

Stop posting on here. Don't look at the SP. Don't think about the SP. Live your life. Find a hobby. 2 years will pass quickly enough.

Agreed. A 93m MCap (call it 100m, for now, to account for a bit more dilution) is not what this company will be worth in a couple of years time. He's not a good invester. He can get folks to pay to listen to his opinions, so he has that much business acumen at least, but I don't think I'm interested in his investing opinions any more.

Boards tend to be either mostly deserted or toxic I find. The deserted kind are the best for on-topic discussion, but they tend to be deserted for a reason - aka, the SP is doing nothing. As soon as the SP does something, up or down, the board becomes toxic fast. Smug or bitter (respectively) LTHs abound. I don't know which is worse. GGP is a classic example. Some very strange folk over there (and I speak as someone who made good money on GGP myself). Brag about having 100% of thir portfolio in GGP, not to mention having held all the way down from 38p (old money aka pre-consolidation) because they're a true believer. This board could tend the same way. DYOR, keep your own counsel and don't fall in love with a share are all pieces of advice that stand the test of time.
