Hi Richard, I believe from the time of your posts, 2am where I am, you must be somewhere east of the UK time zone. Or a long way west? To coin a phrase ‘the sun never sets on the investing empire’. Thank you for your helpful explanations. I share your investing strategy and believe that a bit of patience is required and remain hopeful that The Ithaca Boys will deliver on RL’s good work.
I hadn’t come across Dunning Kruger before but maybe it’s related, in some cases, to Wernicke Korsakoff syndrome? BTW, drinking beer with a high yeast content can help avoid WKS, apparently.

Where’s the production? In the planning and negotiation stage. This is not trivial work.
“Anybody can acquire licences”. This is simply not true. A Licence application is a significant endeavour: Strategic vision, Hard work, investment in data, financial acumen and commitment to invest are all required.
Patience and trust in the board and management are required.
Investing in an AIM listed, pre-production oil and gas company has its risks, these are well documented and known. The potential rewards are, I believe, significant and worth waiting for.
