How do these tests from gov.uk differ from the boxes of 25s provided by employers?
The main differences between these tests are:
• The number of swabs, extraction tubes, extraction buffer volumes, test cartridges.
• The method of swabbing. ??????

I can order now from Bioserv but they wont start deliveries until the 15th July.

Next week Innova Emergency Approval should end. My feeling is the government will just extend it, so they can carry on how they are with them. My children come home from school each week with these tests, as of Monday I will be collecting them up and returning them to my MP Sir Peter Bottomley constituency office 21 New Broadway, Tarring Road, Worthing, BN11 4HP, labeled - Not Fit for Purpose.

Comment
At least 150 positive clinical samples. The samples should cover a clinically meaningful range of viral loads (i.e. should be from people with high, medium and low viral load) that represents the population the test is intended to be used in. For tests with lower sensitivity, it is envisaged that when used in practice people with negative results will need confirmatory checking by an additional test.

The Group has developed a SARS-CoV-2 antigen lateral flow test using its Affimer® platform to detect the coronavirus spike antigen and recently announced data from a clinical study on 98 positive COVID-19 samples that demonstrate excellent performance in identifying the SARS-CoV-2 virus across a broad range of viral loads.

So the comment on the MHRA site is saying “At least 150 positive clinical samples” and our RNS says “98 positive samples”.

I’m no maths genius but 98 is not 150.

Someone please tell me I have this all wrong and we haven’t come up 52 tests short on the required minimum sample required for filling?

The country has over 5 years’ worth of PPE in stockpile, the government are cancelling contracts to stop this from growing even bigger. The NHS / Vets / Dentists have access to a massive supply of medical grade masks. Big orders coming in, well good luck with that one.

This guy is a genious. He chooses a cause celebre, set up a go fund me page to fight said good cause on behalf of the generous donators to the page, who haven’t worked out all he is doing is paying himself a very hansome rate for spearheading the battle.

I agree the BH RNS strikes me as the sugar coating before some bad news arrives but exceptionally good news for us. The RNS talks about present tests but we all know the Innova test is not that good. I was happy when I read it. Maybe next week will finally be the week?

Why would you put something as bad as that out on what should had been a day of celebrations? After an exceptionally long dog walk trying to think of whys, all I have come up with is, they start of bad and then go downhill.

A) He is completely out of his depth.

B) He has absolutely no confidence in his company being able to produce tests, so instead of seeing this as the first of many contracts, he’s telling us don’t get excited we will ball’s this up and not be asked to do any more than one or two production runs.

C) I have been working a fundraise in the background and that its at a much lower price per a share and I cannot allow the current share price to climb to high, so I had to p*ss all over it.
