Watched the presentation last night.

I’m all about investing more than a quick win. Liked what I heard last night and happy to now sit back and wait 5yrs to see what happens.

Good luck all, if this comes good, I will make money and I will also know the world is a safe and better place due to their innovations.

My explanation for the share price collapse would be.

Our amazing team of scientist have unfortunately produced the only LFT device that can’t pick up Onicom, where everybody else seems to work perfectly fine, rotten bad luck.

Where we were told a couple of weeks ago this would be a quick fix, it turns out they still can’t find an antibody that works, where all the other manufacturers have. And even if they do find one that works, this will mean that they have basically created a brand-new test.

So, on the game of snakes and ladders we have done from square 93 / 100 all the way back to square one.
When you consider that its taken then two years not to have a test passed and launched and we are now back to square one, if they got this passed in the next 18 months that would be quick.

The institutional investor got told this info last week at theory roadshows because some of them conveniently increased their short position in participation of the penny dropping that we have spent a fortune in the last 24m on a product which is till at least 18 month + away from coming to a shop near you to buy.

I expect this to drop a lot more over the coming days.

My view exactly - oh well at least one of us got a nice new house out of the hype and promise - the only issue we will have is manufacturing capacity - I think I will always remember this line.

Surely the questions you he should of asked was,

“Why has your test failed to pick up Onicrom when all the other tests still work?”

Personal I think this is the last we will ever here of LFT from Avacta.

I am finding an issue with the Innova produced tests. The last three boxes the buffer solution gets totally absorbed by the swab sample stick, leaving no fluid to put onto the test?

Has anyone else experience this issue?

20 million tests produced by Sure Screen supported by Omega Diagnostics sounds really positive.

However when you compare it to just this single tender awarded to Innova Medical, for 713,500,000 tests

Who are based in California and produce tests in China, which are banned in the USA as being dangerous

You can see the government support for UK industry is just 2.8% compared to the support given to this American company.

This is based on just one tender, which lasted between the 17 Dec – 31 Jan. Innova have been awarded over £3.5 BILLION yes that’s BILLION worth of contracts for LFT to date.

Quickly doing some research on Omega Diagnostic, shows that the UK government have actually cancelled their contract to produce LFT in Scotland on 9th December, choosing instead to keep buying in Chinees tests, as illustrated by the above tender.

I think the contents of this letter is more party politics in nature rather than a truthful reflection of the situation.

I hope my research above is of interest and helps to keep you and Sir Peter better informed of the situation.

The joint Porton Down and University of Oxford team has developed a rigorous validation
approach, which can be found at www.gov.uk by searching for ‘protocol for evaluation of
rapid diagnostic assays for specific SARS-CoV-2 antigens (lateral flow devices)’. The
current validation process consists of three assessment phases of increasing stringency.
Phase 3a is a validation against clinical samples, and successful completion of this final
stage means a product has demonstrated suitable performance and is therefore eligible for
procurement.

mark are currently manufactured in the UK.

We are committed to boosting UK manufacturing and demonstrated this with the award of
a contract for 20 million devices to Derby-based test manufacturer SureScreen
Diagnostics. These lateral flow device (LFD) tests were the first British tests to be
validated in the laboratory by Public Health England and the first UK-manufactured LFD
tests to be approved for supervised testing. These LFDs are able to generate a result in
under 15 minutes.
SureScreen Diagnostic LFD tests, which have been partly assembled by Omega
Diagnostics in Scotland, are initially being rolled out to universities in England. In
preparation for their launch, SureScreen tests have been used in certain wider public
sector supervised settings including prisons and daily contact testing settings. They will
form an essential part of the Government’s rapid testing programme.
I would like to assure you that collaboration between industry and Government continues
to be a priority, and we are hugely grateful to all the manufacturers and suppliers that have
come forward to offer their assistance in producing LFD tests.

Signed meaningful contracts which protected them and us financially

Been honest with shareholders, the contract was not worth between £50 - £325m – it was worth ZERO in the end.

Control the debate by being proactive with the media – have you seen any local newspaper articles about what was surpassed to be going on in the factory?

Any white papers about their products, any leadership to place them as an emerging market leader / go to company for comments on LF industry?

Supported their company by buying shares not by selling them after ramping the price on twitter.

Have a remuneration package which rewards success rather than time sat at desk twiddling fingers.

Have CEO has the right skills to take the company forward rather than one who seems to wait for Karma and fate to deliver the results for him.

I could go on if I put my mind into it for five more minutes.

Just read the Glass Door review of the company, lots their say management haven’t got a clue and the best one was from someone getting paid a full weeks wages for just 28 hrs worked – list that as the only benefit of working for them!

It’s the off the shelf antibody that has failed.
Surely, they have pulled apart all the LFT that they can get their hands on and know what everyone else is using in their tests?

TT completed in Dec, a massive, price sensitive step which was withheld from the market?

Market knows that once TT is completed ABDX have already told the market they have a substantial order from Avacta for its product.

Avacta have not sold these tests, so today come out and say, oh we have decided to pull the product from the market, even though we have told the market it works with Omicron.

As we haven’t sold anything we now need to not buy anything.

Thanks shareholders, soon we will work something else out for you all to get excited about and keep us well feed and paid in our jobs.

That’s what sticks in my throat, we were told for months the contract was worth a minimum of £50 million, that was its floor value - £50 million.

A bareface lie as it turned out.

Why don’t the CEO of Avacta, Abingdon Health, and Omega join and jointly buy a page in the Times together, so that they can detail out what has been going on over the last 18 months.

Their approach so far has achieved nothing of value. Even now they are losing the debate.

Government narrative – UK tests were rubbish and didn’t pass, we are protecting you by keeping then off the market.
We all know the truth and the country should be told it.

If the CEO doesn’t get photos of the government’s equipment into every newspapers tomorrow he is not up to the task in hand. You don’t chase a market you create it.
