Fortunately, SNG doesn’t just work on Omicron. Or even Covid-19 as a whole and all its variants!

Haven’t SNG already confirmed they will be presenting findings from their trial on long Covid and 90 days post treatment, at end of March/early April? I honestly can’t recall the exact details.
But if correct, that would suggest they are indeed well underway with the analysis and will have some inkling?

I don’t think anyone answered my questions earlier, but is it Paraxel and SNG working through the analysis together? Or do Paraxel just verify what SNG claim to have derived from the data? Or do Paraxel do the analysis on their own?

HSD, I sincerely hope Paraxel have been collecting the data as we’ve been going along! I don’t think Paraxel will be contacting India now and saying “you know that patient you treated with SNG001 back in January 2021, did they live/die? Any chance we can have some day yet?!”.

On a separate note, just checked the daily volumes. Wow, smashed the record daily volume for the last couple of months. Going to go 3+ million for the day. I can’t believe that’s just PI’s, so maybe Sharedealer2019 or CityTTrader will get one of their TR1 guesses right! ;)

RNS on 11/11/21 confirmed last patient recruited. It then states data will be analysed once the 35 day period post this date has passed. That took us up to 15/12/21. The top line readout/results of this data is early 2022.

Are you invested here? Surely you’d have known this… I mean, it’s what we’re all waiting for?!

HelloSanDiego, they received data on 15/12/21. They are hoping to have analysed it and have the readout early 2022.

The tweets to me are positive. RM re-tweeting it says to me that he has indeed signed off on it (the SNG tweet).
He’s a good guy and doesn’t strike me as someone who would want to mislead, they’ve analysed at least a good chunk of the P3 data to go along with the two P2 datasets, and I can’t believe he’d write such a tweet, endorsing the SNG tweet, if the data analysed so far was p155 poor.

As for the SP being down 4% and not up 25%… well I honestly reckon SNG could come out and say “BUY BUY BUY, news incoming tomorrow!” and the SP still wouldn’t budge!

Can someone more knowledgeable than me explain exactly what SNG will have now seen? Will they have been given all data on or around 15/12/21? Do they and Paraxel analyse the data jointly? Or do Paraxel simply confirm what SNG have derived from the data?

Axe, completely agree with your first paragraph. I think the entire team at Synairgen have done an incredible job. What they have achieved so far is nothing short of remarkable. It’s not just because of Covid they have got here in this time, but RM himself has said himself in multiple interviews that were it has meant we are dealing in months instead of years.

As for results pre Christmas, I did say this was never going to happen, just that it would have been nice timing. The slight delay for P3 trial completion was a shame. Bear in mind, originally we were due readout by end of 2021.

The only thing I disagree on is Omicron IV… I’m sorry, but that cannot take that long? They outsource this so P3 data analysis should matter not. Other companies have managed it and while we know (hope) it works, the wider market and joe public don’t understand.

Axe, I have a lot of time for RM and everyone at SNG. But the reason they have managed to speed through three levels of trials at record pace is because of Covid, not SNG doing something wildly different to everyone other pharma co!

I’m not criticising them and as I said, in the long run it should pay off. It would have still been nice for us to have had P3 and Omicron IV results pre Christmas when Omicron was the end of humanity! Of course, it was highly unlikely that was ever going to happen and mid to end of January was and is my bet.

I don’t think anything too sinister is going on here. All the Covid stocks are down again on the back of omicron being reported as mild and peaking etc.

While I would have liked SNG to have striked while the iron was hot, announcing P3 results or even Omicron IV results, I think we have to accept that they are just not commercially minded. They are scientists and want to tick every box, dot every i, cross every t…. Hopefully in the long run this approach will pay dividends, literally.

Bit of a meltdown on here this afternoon and it’s only the first trading day of the year! Realistically, no news was going to drop today. Even if they found out today, I’m sure they’d want a bit of time to work out the press release/RNS wording.

Selling after holding for so long blows my mind… sell half perhaps? If I sold out now and positive results came in later this week, I’d be jumping off the nearest bridge. I’ll be disappointed if the price cripples up to just £2.50-3.

Andybe4, I don’t think anyone thought they’d be an RNS specifically today? I’m hoping first half of January.

Tempers are no doubt going to fray as the days tick by, nervousness will kick in and some will bail out, as Neil has done below.

For me, if I sold out now and SNG went to £5+, that would be more painful than if they go to £0. Whatever the results, I’ll be somewhat glad it’s over!

Mumbo_Jumbo, you could be right. But at the very least, Covid-19 has been the mother of all shots across the bow for human life and a wake up call for us all. I’m fairly sure at some point in the future they’ll be another coronavirus discovered. And so I think companies that are developing world leading therapeutics to fight such viruses, of which I sincerely hope SNG is one of them, will be in strong demand. Certainly, if SNG posts positive P3 results then the SP has to be worth more than it is now.

As an aside, I’ve tested positive today. Mild symptoms so far, sore throat, general grotty feeling. I doubt it’ll be the last coronavirus/flu/cold that I’ll have in my life, so will be hoping the development of any antivirals or cures doesn’t stop just because Omicron has been and gone!

I was just going to ask what this means exactly, because aren’t we trialling this already?!

Driftwood, take Omicron out of the equation, or Covid-19 completely, are you saying SNG will be worth less than £2 per share if it achieves positive P3 readout?
