I’m fairly certain conversations are going on right now between governments/health agencies and Synairgen. RM has confirmed many times that this has been happening previously and SNG are being monitored. It’s end game time and Omicron is here shutting down the global economy once more.

Volume was less than 1 million on Friday and it’s looking pretty thin again today. I’ll be very happy to see a TR1, but it looks like the II’s are happy with their positions and are now waiting for the readout.

I see the Moderna Booster apparently “increases antibodies 37-fold against Omicron”. Not sure I believe this and regardless, they’ll be another variant that comes along that would need yet another booster…where does it end? Was still half expecting the SNG SP to take a small knock on the back of this, even though we know SNG is needed no matter what boosters might do.

I’d like to think we’ll hold steady above £2. Omicron will no doubt continue to dominate the headlines and time is getting ever shorter for investors to take their positions before readout.

I’m still hopeful we’ll get some news before Christmas, even a TR1 or IV results on Delta and Omicron. After all, it’s been at least a couple of weeks since they announced they were testing on those variants.

I’m guessing we’ll be in lockdown for 27th December. School hols extended for a fortnight for an anticipated return on 17th January. For the sake of helping with the deteriorating situation, never mind the SP, Synairgen need to be targeting p3 results (or at least some kind of high level data) for before this date IMO.

I’ve always thought the biggest risk if we pass P3 is that we sell out for a song. We will be very reliant on the likes of Polar and Polygon to make sure this doesn’t happen. Of course, in our own way is PI’s can also make it difficult for them if we all rejected any low ball offer!

Patagucci, it’s all guesswork but if it passes phase 3 Sprinter then it’s got to go higher than £3?! Orders will come in almost immediately that will be larger in value than the entire company is at £3 per share.

I do agree Ndn71, although I think the arrival and surge of omicron means we could probably get away with even average results. Of course, if p3 results are terrible then yes, it’s game over. But I think and hope we’ve a little more wiggle room now.

If I could see a year into the future, I wouldn’t be surprised to see SNG at £10 or £100 (£2bn-£20bn).

Just look at Moderna and BioNTech who have added approximately £100bn and £50bn to their market values since Covid landed.

SNG would be the FIRST therapeutic brought to market that has been specifically and FULLY trialled for Covid without corners being cut (Merck, Pfizer) in the WORLD! It also ticks the box for the anti vaxxers with the main ingredient being a natural protein and is something genuinely different for that armoury they go on about.

If we get positive p3, I don’t see how this is worth *just* £2bn, which is what £10 is.

I suppose I might sell some then. You know your in cost is basically covered and you have 80-90% of your holding remaining that you can sit back and relax with.

I’m at a loss why Synairgen haven’t reported on Delta, never mind Omicron. Yes, the trial will hopefully have demonstrated effectiveness to Delta but I still don’t see why you wouldn’t report it.

Synairgen, if it is indeed as good as we all hope it is, should be reporting all its findings on the different variants. Again, surely it is duty bound in the current climate to make all relevant parties aware of all and any potential drugs that could help against Covid. I’m led to believe in vitro testing is not a long process, so why the delays?

I can only assume that they want to announce blockbuster P3 results and say at the same time “and here’s our in vitro results on Delta and Omicron that proves it is truly variant agnostic…”. Goodness, that really would get this SP moving.

I think the same. Schools being told to provide students with work for after school hols and to have laptops where possible for remote schooling. My best guess would be a snap 2-3 week lockdown and extend the school holidays.

Tyla, I got to the same date although we have Christmas and New Year in the way. However, I’m hoping that they’ll throw more resource at it and time really is of the essence, so fingers crossed it is very early January!

Early 2022 is more than likely when we’ll hear anything. But if you’re gambling you can wait to put your money into this until January, that’s brave. This is an incredibly dangerous stock to be out of right now.

I’m not ruling anything out. The goalposts and protocol have been changed before in order to get the vaccines out. Countries right, left and centre are now locking down or considering it. That costs billions. Trillions even.

Just imagine if US ACTIV phase 2 results were absolutely knock out. Yes, it’s only phase 2 but we now have phase 3 trial data from SPRINTER. The US could say WE want to see that data right now and analyse it. Did anyone die from SNG? No. Great, we’ll take a flyer on it and have £2bn worth please (which let’s be honest is what they have done with the new mRNA vaccines and magic smarties from Merck and Pfizer). And at least SNG is a naturally produced protein to boot.

A long shot and I don’t think that will happen. But yes, a dangerous one to be out of!

SAB showing even a mild-moderate drop in potency for omicron can’t be great news for them, but good for SNG as another competitor. Although I notice it’s done their SP no harm, up 20% from its low yesterday.

Extremely good volume today as someone mentioned… 1.2m shares already. Spread wide again, 203-209p. Will be good to see it narrow to the high side.

Alkin, this is why I still think there is a small possibility something might happen sooner. It’s madness that we’ve got a treatment here which we know is safe, and could help. Surely something is going on behind the scenes.
