On the 15/16th December Synairgen will be given all the data from the trial. That’s 300 or so people who were actually given the drug. A few questions:

- Do we know approximately how many people are working for SNG that are qualified to sift through the data?
- Presumably they will be busting a gut to get this done, and so how long do we estimate it will take for them to get the very high level data, i.e. the patient didn’t die and recovered well?!
- Finally, are there any previous trials we know of elsewhere of a comparable size, that we can use to give us some idea of how long it might take?

Whether Omicron turns out serious or not, matters not. All that matters right now is passing P3. If it does that, will the share price be higher than it is now, or has ever been?

I have just taken a small initial position in SBTX, having been made aware of the company by another investor. I have read the latest research note from Cenkos and it all seems quite positive.

I have read all of the posts on here since Saturday (I can't be bothered to go back much further!) but notice a few mentions of a missing Croda RNS. Can anyone enlighten me as to what this is or will be?

Fruitsnveg, I did say that maybe they could hang on for Activ P3 (due end of 2022).

The point stands… if the P3 trials fail then it’s curtains! There would definitely be a fundraise to keep SNG going. Of course, I don’t think this will happen, hence being heavily invested. But those that go all in on SNG need to be aware of the consequences if both P3 trials fail.

Absolutely BeContrian, I think I’ve got just the right amount that if it 10x I will be retiring early with a nice Porsche on the drive. But equally, if it fails then it’s not going to bankrupt me.

It probably is 80%. But the consequences of the other 20% happening are vast. This wouldn’t be like Apple not quite selling as many millions of iPhones and missing its earning estimates. If P3 fails, it’s curtains. Certainly they’d be a fundraise to keep the lights on. I suppose maybe they could hang on for Activ P3 but if we can’t pass the P3 trial that more suits us, then the omens would not look good.

Because of all that, I’ve decided to base all my own calculations on this being a 50/50 bet. There’s still so many variables and things that could potentially go wrong. People who have half or more of their portfolio in here… well, I personally wouldn’t be able to sleep at night!

Lots of clowns, Fruitnveg. And some funny business going on again with the SP today. The spread was in and out all day. Tight 1p spread, then out of no where a 7p spread. Whether it is a big buyer with a limit order on, and the brokers are dropping the price to trigger stop losses so they can mop them up for their buyer and collect the cash on the spread, I don’t know. But it doesn’t look orderly right now.

Let’s see if we do get another TR1 within the next couple of days…

That could well be true (and I hope you’re correct). Although I don’t know if SNG are obliged to tell the market as soon as last patient is recruited…are they allowed to wait?

Bid/offer spread has blown out to 7.5p again. Nonsense. Volume has been decent and steady.

Our dates otherwise match and SNG should get sight of the data next week. Unless that last patient recruited carked it mid treatment and they had to find someone new ;)

Last patient dosed was announced at 7am on 11/11/2021. We can assume that it occurred the day before, so 10/11 + 35 days gets you to 15/12. Maybe 16/12. Don’t they say 7 days at least to go through it (hopefully they’ll have every able body working on this!), so maybe Christmas Eve RNS ;)

I reckon it will be middle of January, though. SNG don’t seem to rush and every press release and interview they say early 2022…

The way our SP reacts to what can only be considered as good news, I reckon we’ll still only cripple up to £2.20 with a stellar P3 readout!

Let’s hope the RNS this morning of the press release on the presentation gets things moving in a better direction this morning.

As you say, if this had been Pfizer coming out with this presentation, their share price would be up at least a couple of percent, or put another way, £5bn added to their value, the equivalent of £25 per share for SNG! Instead, I’m expecting 170p tomorrow the way our SP seems to react to good news! ;)
