Superitch, there’s no delay. Sng said early 2022. It’s just impatient folk like me who hoped for some news sooner, not to mention omicron raging and on the verge of sending us into another lockdown, that I hoped there might have been some way to get things moving a little quicker.

Synairgen seem a bit more on it these days. I’m still hopeful that we might get something from the team. But it is just hope and more to keep me and the market excited, and maybe some exposure for SNG more than anything else!

I hope the fact there are currently no broad spectrum antivirals developed specifically for Covid, is mentioned. And maybe referencing Adagio’s failure.

I wonder what RM’s restrictions are and what he can discuss without RNS’ing first… presumably he couldn’t talk about in vitro results for omicron.

Owl11, I agree. Today is definitely the latest day for data to have been received so he’ll have had a cursory look… for example, no one died using SNG001 or whatever else.

I’ll be watching his body language. If there’s a look of angst… or hopefully, a very jovial and relaxed RM!

I’ve been watching the price a lot today and the offer/buy price has been steady at 209 (currently 209.6p). But the bid price will suddenly fall from 208 to 202p.

Does anyone have level 2 that can see the order book all the way down? I’m guessing there isn’t much depth on the sell side. Which is positive.

Tyla, FYI… there has been almost no volume over the past two hours. So you were right! :D

Tyla - I agree, there definitely hasn’t been. But yesterday there was a very big pick up in volume from around 2pm onwards, the biggest I’ve seen for a while, specifically at that time.

The night before, SSH had been interviewed in the US and we also had Adagio fall heavily. It might have been a coincidence but it will still be interesting to see if volume picks up again shortly, when the US comes online.

Syn00gold, decent volumes again today and the US hasn’t even come online yet. I’m a little surprised we’ve not seen another TR1, but perhaps Polar/Polygon now feel they are set and ready.

Wonga, I think if there’s demand for it then they’ll find a way of upping production. It’s amazing what the human race can do when the minds are focused.

Oakleaf, a similar timeline would take us to Monday, 3rd January by my calendar for P3 results. I’d take that right now!

Although we have Christmas in the way this time, so likely to be longer unless they do move those goalposts or get some extra help in. More data to churn, too. Fingers crossed though!

I am hoping first half of January at the latest, given the current situation with omicron. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a snap two week lockdown immediately after Christmas, extending the school holidays so that there’s minimal impact to the schools so they can get the numbers down… we are at level 4 already. Level 5 is lockdown.

The point is, SNG is urgently needed and while I fully appreciate the typical timeframes involved, along with all the data cleansing that Matml74 mentioned, the goalposts can (and have) been moved before, to try get these drugs and vaccines out as quickly as possible. Of course, whatever way they do it, we still want it done correctly.
I still maintain that they can surely check the very high level data on this fairly quickly, just to see if this is a goer or not.

It was a 7am RNS on the 11th November so I’m confident it would have been recruited on the 10th or before. The 10th + 35 full days ahead is the 15th December (17 minutes time!). I’m hoping for an RNS in the morning, or maybe Thursday if the data is received tomorrow during the day.

Debarra, I’ve been staggered for a while now that SNG isn’t valued higher.

I look at it that if SNG has a 50% chance of success, then as long as the upside is more than double your in price, it represents a good risk reward bet. I think most would say that the chances of success are higher than 50% and that the upside is considerably more than say £4. So I don’t know how the price isn’t higher or that the penny hasn’t dropped for more investors, even more so the II’s.

Just for the avoidance of doubt, when I screamed LEEEEAAAAKKK earlier on, that was a joke for Ndn71 who said as soon as the SP moves materially, people will be shouting leak!

Just reading on Adagio, they reckon their drug worked in vitro on all other variants but not Omicron. We are very different, clearly. But still a reminder of what can happen.

2.1m volume. Will be interesting to see any trades booked after market close and who knows, if a TR1 lands. Either way, a very pleasant day.

Big volume gone through in last hour. When I checked the BT at just gone 1pm, approx 800k shares traded. It’s now 1.8m with most of that 1m since 3pm. That’s very decent.
