Life is rarely straightforward. I’d love to think SNG will have fantastic P3 results, quickly followed by a massive order from the US and then a TO or JV. But I think we’ll be made to work hard and suffer a while longer yet. I’ll be very happy to be proven wrong.

Well it goes without saying that I hope you (Brand, Ndn) are right! I also hope we don’t have to go through the stress of an iffy SPRINTER result and having to wait for another year for ACTIV P3 results… not sure my heart could take it! :D

Ndn71, ACTIV-2 might give us two bites at the cherry, but I still struggle to see how, if we fail SPRINTER P3, that we’d pass ACTIV P3, when in Synairgen’s own words the hospitalised patients are better for us where “we have a fire to put out”? Certainly the odds would be against us.

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that, and we pass SPRINTER with flying colours.

Fruitsnveg, the vaccines don’t work. Jab number 4 being dished out proves this. When the next variant comes along it’ll be jab number 5. They need to go back to the drawing board and develop one that actually works for longer than 3 months.

I now know so many people who are refusing to have the booster, and plenty more who are having it but have said that will be it for them. I appreciate you disagree and am not intending to be obtuse about this, but I just don’t see how this is the way forward.

Brand, I agree with bits of that but not all of it.

SNG’s primary job is to commercialise the product but they also have a duty to their shareholders to give them the best return possible. Of course, a good product should mean these two go hand in hand.

I disagree that having all the traders/potential investors back in place wouldn’t make a difference. If the results are knockout good, then we want every potential trader back and buying the shares. More buyers than sellers = higher price. Great for us shareholders who got in before the rush.

Brand, you may be right. And I suppose if they do have positive results available then they have a moral duty to get them out there so we can start saving lives.
But from a SP point of view, I still maintain 4th January onwards would be better, when everyone is back from their holidays and we’d see higher volumes to push the price up that bit higher than it might do, in the middle of what is the quietest trading week of the year.

I’d be very surprised now if P3 is announced before 4th January. Although that is only Tuesday, 6 days away! Real end game stuff now. Surprised to see SP flirting with dipping below £2. I was hoping we’d seen the last of the £1.xx prices.

Oakleaf, apologies. I absolutely agree I would not be out of this ready for January trading! Although I do think anyone who has wants to be in for P3 readout and has still not done so, is mad!

I want results ASAP but I’m not sure I’d want SNG to release them on New Year’s Eve. If positive news, then I want them to get some real momentum going on this and not have days in between for weekends and bank holidays.

I should have said coronaviruses have been around since 8000 BCE. I think it’s safe to assume they’ll be around for a few more years yet!

Anyone who says SNG is doomed because Covid might dissipate is clearly a troll or deramper. Covid viruses have been around for a long time… we’re on number 19. Even if Covid-19 did disappear tomorrow, you can’t tell me a large pharma isn’t still going to want a potentially successful SNG001? Yes, the value of it may not be as high, but it’s going to be a damn sight more than £400m.

While I can’t deny I am invested here primarily to make money, I would be super proud to own a company that turns the tide against Covid and helps potentially in the future with COPD, Asthma and the like.

While we might bicker and argue with our different views, I enjoy my time on here and the vast majority of members are great girls and guys. I hope to see us all reap some well earned rewards in 2022!

Whether it’s true or not, my point is that SNG need to get this moving otherwise what was the point? I suppose to say there’s even more evidence that SNG is variant agnostic. But it seems a missed opportunity for us to get some welcome good publicity and our name and drug out there.
