That was my best guess. I’d like to see a Monday release so we can get some momentum going throughout the week.

Looking at what days some of the more key announcements from SNG have been made on:

Activ-2 P3 - Wednesday
In vitro results (Kent etc) - Monday
Home cohort data - Friday
Positive interim analysis in COPD patients - Tuesday
Positive P2 - (Manic) Monday

No patterns. I think they’re ready but will want a Monday release. I hope it’s the coming Monday!

Even if SNG does now fail, I do think we still need to meet up for that party!

I’m not sure I’d be buying yachts. But it will be nice knowing that I didn’t have to work again, even though I’d likely still carry on.

In one of his presentations years back he talks about takeovers of other companies and uses the line “this is exactly the type of event we are looking to provoke”.

Still no word on Omicron IV results. I am absolutely convinced they have these. They are either holding them back in case P3 results are a bit iffy, so the IV results could bolster the case. Or, they are holding them back to announce alongside P3 because no doubt the naysayers will be saying “ah but does it work on Omicron…”. They’d be able to shut that argument down immediately. I think it probably is the latter but then their RNS on 6/12 said they would present the results as soon as available?

They need 90% to force minority shareholders to give up their shares.

Whatever Polygon’s strategy, they are about the only meaningful II we now have. I don’t consider Polar’s holding particularly large now. And I think post a positive P3, other II’s will struggle to build a stake in SNG. So let’s hope Polygon do have good intentions!

Starmer is desperately uninspiring. I can’t imagine him inspiring the troops before a battle. Or inspiring anything.

I did enjoy Bojo and Rayner going at each other during PMQ’s the other day. Was actually quite funny and they both seemed to enjoy it. But why do the entire Labour front bench have to sound like they have an IQ of about 37 between the lot of them?

I think if it does go on much longer than end of next week then it is purely because they are indeed lining everything up. If we think we’re excited, then how must the team at SNG be feeling?! They’ve worked on this for years and so I would imagine will be working around the clock on the data… I’m confident they’ll have at least an indication of what it’s looking like. Sure, Ndn71 might be right with his nuances and that 73 yr olds with red hair and 6 fingers might take to SNG001 better or worse than others. But the real top line stuff will be known.

On a different subject, I was just reading how the US has ordered more of AstraZeneca’s Evusheld. 1m courses now at I’m sure a considerable cost. Let’s hope they keep the cheque book open a little while longer for potential new treatments.

If they want to bid £50 per share and commit to seeing SNG flourish, they can have my shares.

Goldforefinger, I don’t think Polygon are acquiring shares for someone else but I could be wrong. With regards so takeovers, any bidder needs to get to 90% to force the remain 10% to hand their shares over. If it’s a derisory offer, I’ll not be part of the 90% selling or agreeing to it!

I really did want another II to come on board just in case Polygon did go hostile. Polar don’t look like they’ve got the stones for it!

Disagree Ndn71. Even Matml74 pointed out that it doesn’t take that long to get top line data. And time really is of the essence. They’ve still got a few days though before they disappoint me ;)

I think you’re just trying to temper your expectations so you’re not disappointed if the results are later than we/you might expect. Which is probably not a bad thing.

My best guess was that they had results ready for 14th but would hold off/prep the statement for a Monday 17th release. If it’s not out by then, I will view it as mildly poor form. If it works then this isn’t just about SNG, it’s about helping a lot of people…

Another quiet day but remain vigilant… we are one day closer and there’s more chance of that RNS tomorrow morning than there was today :)
