Damn, I must have been dreaming about the senior hirings, that commercialisation agreement with Ashbridge, several senior job adverts, Synairgen Inc and a spangly new website full of little snippets.

Of course, you’d do all of that without any clue what the data might be indicating.

That after 42 days they should have topline results? Or that they are most likely lining everything up so that they can hit the ground running and start distributing our drug if results are as good as we hope?

You’re right, I’m no expert. But many well respected posters on this BB think the same as me.

I think in your efforts to lower your own expectations, just in case results are not positive, you have lost the plot somewhat.

I don’t mind the wait as long as when the RNS comes it is more than just P3 results. It’s been 7 weeks since they got the data. I won’t have anyone tell me that isn’t long enough for topline results. 42 days of teams of people poring over the data…

And now even Dr Mary has managed to get Omicron IV results… have I read that right?

So to me SNG have the data but are lining everything else up. If not, it’s inexcusable. But I do firmly believe they have it all.

pjmcgra - I think we all know Synairgen have said early 2022 for readout. It’s interpreting exactly what “early” means and Synairgen have of course worded it deliberately that way because it gives them some leeway. It’s looking like it might fall into February but I can’t see it being March. Or even late February.

One thing I will say is that the RNS from the 8th December, they said they will give the results of Omicron and Delta IV “as soon as possible”. Well I think they’ve told a porky there. No way on God’s green Earth does it take nearly 7 weeks and counting to do this. And if they really haven’t managed to do this yet, it would cause me great concern about their ability to manufacture and distribute millions of courses of SNG001 in a timely fashion.

In reality, I think they have got the results and are waiting to publish them alongside P3 readout. But yes, a bit misleading from them on that one.

Absolutely nothing re SNG from him as far as I can tell. But I’ll agree to disagree, Oakleaf :)

I’m going to say, the public health value of treatments lies not in shortening symptoms by 24hrs but by stopping people going into hospital and stopping people dying. Thankfully, once vaccinated, a large proportion of people infected with Sars Cov2 will not go into hospital or die.
These treatments have to be targeted and research has to be done to work out population groups who can really benefit. Otherwise, we get into the number needed to treat being large indeed, that the number needed to treat to avoid one death or hospitalisation. But if that NNT is very large or cost is large, policy makers have to make difficult choices about where our money is spent.”

Just listened to the part where they ask him about Synairgen and he sidesteps it. Personally, I can’t stand the bloke. It always blows my mind how some people get to such positions.

Anyway, UK isn’t the focus for SNG. Roll on tomorrow. “One day closer…”!

Ndn71, those who are using bogus evidence to mislead people must represent 1% of members on here. Don’t let them get to you! They certainly won’t be deterred or take any notice of your posts.

Mr Costs - ludicrous to think SNG would send out a message to address the SP fall. The fall is mostly due to Ukraine/Russia, and maybe a tiny bit of disappointment that P3 results haven’t been released.

Bob - I’m sure they have Omicron IV results but will announce alongside the P3 RNS.

Yes, this dip caused by the Ukraine/Russia issue and also with the Fed and various analysts talking up more rate rises this year. Tech and growth stocks hit particularly hard.

If this fall had happened when the rest of the market was positive, or even flat, I might be slightly concerned. But the whole market is selling off in a big way.

Nothing has changed. We are waiting for P3 results. We had a positive week last week, it wasn’t just a flash new website. It was also the job adverts which contained many positives IMO.

Some investors will be looking to raise money so they can buy other stocks which might be down even more than SNG.

Do we think P3 results will be good? Even average? If so, the price will be north of £1.82 when they land.

Apologies Skippy, I was referring to the positions already filled since September. It’s quite the team SNG have already put together.

Maybe Skippy, but still a big call for some of these people to leave steady jobs at large companies and go to SNG without at least some idea of how it’s all looking.

It’s always difficult to see a stock fall. But nothing has changed. We are ‘one day closer’ and had a very positive week last week with the new website, videos and hirings.

Ndn71, there have been no false narratives. We are all PIs with no insider information. We have all just been guessing, most of us for fun. I don’t know why you have such a bee in your bonnet with all these 4th, 10th, 17th clubs and so on.
You yourself were guessing/hoping for news around Christmas time.

I think the data is ready, so perhaps we’re not completely wrong with our guesses. But it looks like they are lining everything up. At least I hope that’s what is causing (IMO) a delay.

For someone more knowledgeable than me, but do we know how much a nebuliser costs? It would be nice to know what this all costs, including the drug. We have a rough idea what SNG might sell it on for.

xviolet - if it fails Omicron IV then it won’t matter that it works on anything else. The whole story for SNG has been that it is variant agnostic. To fail Omicron would throw this theory out of the window and would be very bad for the SP.

They must have the Delta and Omicron IV results available by now.

Also, the brand new website has it plastered all over it that it is variant agnostic. They’ll be some egg on faces if they then announce days later that it’s failed the latest IV tests.

I’m sure it will be announced alongside ‘the’ RNS.
