Hop2, I think you have to plan your strategy in advance. For example, if you strongly believe the SP will eventually hit £10+ after positive P3 results but the SP only hit £3-5, buy some more. If it opens £10+, maybe not.

It's a difficult one because I don't think this is as simple as pass or fail. We could scrape a result, we could have amazing results. We might announce orders and EUAs at the same time. We might not.

But a positive P3 will mean the share is massively de-risked with regards to full and permanent capital loss..

HSD, you might have missed the thread title... it says ACTIV, not SPRINTER.

Synairgen know the results. As Matterhorn posted earlier, we are on the 32nd business day vs 18 for phase 2 (and surely they'd be working weekends on this?!). Sure, it's a bigger trial, but also more resource. And for those that say "ah well, phase 3 is really important and needs to be right", erm, phase 2 or any phase of a trial needs to be thoroughly checked over.

I'm actually more comforted the longer this goes on that they know, or have a blo0.dy good idea, what results are looking like. I will add that I would be disappointed if, when the RNS comes, it just says pass or fail. I think after this long (yes, re-read first line, it's been long enough) that we should get more than that.

My point to Rcdm still stands, though. There is an urgent need for quality therapeutics that should mean we go north of £3 if successful.

Rcdm - IF we pass P3, we will be the first and only fully trialled Covid treatment. Companies with blockbuster drugs very often get TO for £4-8bn (£20-40 per share).

Regardless, your price target of £3 represents a market cap of £600m. One order from the US would probably dwarf that alone.

If we fail, we'll be lucky to see 50p.

We will definitely have P3 results by July. If they fail P3, it's all over, or as good as. If we pass, then they'll clearly be no need for a fund raise because orders will almost certainly come in from the US.

FizzyfromPhilly - I had a quick cursory glance at some other stocks (admittedly much larger than SNG) to see the time between LPD and results, and agree this seems to be dragging on relative to those.

Would you agree with my thinking/hope that it is because they are putting all the wheels in motion behind the scenes?
