Could they possibly RNS after market hours...more time for everyone to digest the detail? Probably not, but maybe not beyond the realms of possibility?

SG019 should have no bearing on P3 results according to SNG. And 90 days... blimey, I hope we don't go on much longer!

Good traders can certainly look at the depth of the order book on both sides and potentially work out the direction a SP will go if a certain size order is filled.

We've had decent volume for weeks now and nothing from Polygon, so I'll stick my neck out and say they're done with buying. I did say this before and was wrong! :D

I think the fall today is probably more to do with the nice rise on Friday. Also, all of the Covid stocks are down heavily again today... Avacta, Novacyt, Omega Diagnostics (who look on their last legs). We are different to thse but unfortunately traders will lump us in with them.

I cannot see this going into March. But then I thought there was an extremely small chance (5%) of hearing something before NYE! How naive of me.

As said earlier, I'm comforted by the fact there seems to be work going on behind the scenes and it will be interesting to see if we get any further little snippets of info this week. I'm also calm because I am as near to certain as can be that they have the Omicron IV results by now, and yet they have not published results. If that were a fail, surely that would have to be RNS'ed immediately because it would mean the whole SNG story (variant agnostic, broad spectrum etc) going up in smoke. So I can only think they want to present the findings alongside the positive P3 results.

My better half already hates me because of SNG. If it lands on Valentines Day… :/

Disappointing the results haven’t come in January but some comfort in that it looks like plenty is going on behind the scenes.

FTC7 - Brooke is American, is that correct? If so, I wonder if the US has different rules around trading shares in the company you work for?

In my early working years, I worked for a well known FTSE100 bank and it was made very clear to everyone about the rules for trading the shares. I would have thought Brooke and her husband would also be aware… she’s worked for some big companies over the years?

I reckon she would have had this authorised beforehand and the speed with which the RNS came out would back up this theory.

But I agree with your point that any trades by senior employees and their family will be looked at closely if results landed the next working day. So now I wonder if they are a couple of weeks away?

The RNS says the transaction took place on Thursday so I think that rules out him buying weeks ago. It also means the RNS was out quick sharp, so it looks like it could have been signed off by SNG.

Either way, I don’t think it matters a huge amount. I think you’ve had an effect on me because my expectations for that RNS happening this week are low!

AJ316, I don’t think the Sue Gray report will delay things.

For starters, it looks like the focus initially is the US. Also, Synairgen need to get on with saving lives.

More likely to delay things is Brooke’s hubby buying a few shares. But it might be that SNG told her results are a few weeks away so to buy some if she wanted to. I can’t quite work out which one it might be.

I’ve already told myself that if results are blatantly very good, EUAs and orders are announced etc and the SP just nudges up to some nonsense like £3, then I’ll be firing in for more shares, not selling.

If they go to £10+ on the day, I’ll probably stay with what I’ve got and be a happy boy.

From a financial planning point of view, I’ve already written off the cost of my shares and assumed they will go to zero. Of course, I hope this won’t happen.

For me, the resistance point most near is 210p! We’ve hit that quite a few times and not managed to push through.

Presumably anyone looking to copycat would still need to go through all the trials, which as we know can take years. By then the patent will be approved.

Ndn71, if someone is blatantly spreading misinformation then I’m with you. Also, people who claim to have ‘sources’ doesn’t sit well with me. But guessing at some dates and getting excited… not so much.

Besides, we (including you) are very positive on SNG and think this has every chance of succeeding. So we’re helping those desperate individuals make a good financial decision! As long as they don’t bet the kitchen sink…

Wadogara, I honestly don’t know what we’ll get in the RNS. My gut feeling is that we’ll get a bit more than a “we passed/failed P3”. If the RNS had come sooner, maybe that would have been it. But the time being taken and various other clues seem to suggest they are working hard behind the scenes, so may have some more info to give us when it finally comes. All IMO before I get shot down.

Ndn71, we must be reading different boards. I see lots of people guessing on dates, but it’s always their own opinion.

If people are stupid enough to come on this board and believe anything anyone says with regards to dates, and invests or divests because of it, more fool them.

DerbyCounter - Synairgen have said that study will not delay P3 results.

Wadogara, I think governments have been paying upfront so I don’t think we’d need to raise cash. And if we did need to raise cash to fulfil a £2bn order, the SP will be considerably north of £2.
