What I will say is that first of all we need to actually get some earnings to have a P/E! And then if we do, it will be a much smaller ratio than that of say a Pfizer or AZN. We would (initially after least) be a one drug wonder, unproven over the long term and still tiny by comparison. We will be rated accordingly.

Now now, MassiveRay. Freethecaterham will be on preaching about how efficient the market place is and how all the MM’s and II’s play by the rules with no skulduggery and manipulation of share prices at play…

If SNG fails P3, we’ll fall a lot more than 30%. I nearly bought Avacta a few months back but ended up swerving it. All the Covid testing stocks seems to have been hit hard.

Almost excruciatingly quiet today (calm before the storm?). Although by the end of this month we might be glad of a quiet day.

That said, a quiet day a few months back was 300k volume. Today, we could well hit 2m. Again. I’m kind of bored with the whole Polar/Polygon swapping shares but it would seem someone is trading them. I’d still love to see a new II come on board but I think it’s probably too close to P3 results now.

Always feel a little like it’s tempting fate talking of price targets. But what I will say is that even if it did hit something like I hope, I’d always have to keep at least some of my holding until the very end.

Good point, Welsh Falcon. And I bet as little as 25% of those 200m shares are actually being traded and not in sticky hands (II’s, members of SNG, people like me and many on here!).

Want 50000 shares… only 1000 people would be able to get them. Yes, the numbers could be different but your point stands that ultimately if this took off then there’s not that many shares available in the grand scheme of things.

Would I refuse to take SNG001 m?

No. Because it’s actually been properly and fully trialled. It is a naturally occurring protein. The company is run by people with integrity. I could go on.

All that matters now is P3 results. And I’m confident that the usually conservative RM, SSH and SNG will not have put out happy clappy tweets and signed deals if the data (that they have seen for weeks now) was bad.

It doesn’t matter what day it is or what time I set my alarm. I now wake up almost to the minute at 6.55am.

It has to be in the next fortnight. For the sake of my health, if nothing else!

Re Polar, I don’t take their selling too seriously. As mentioned previously, I meet fund managers very regularly. Some are genuinely fantastic (Gervais Williams for UK small cap stocks springs to mind) but others are definitely not. Yes, they may have a bit of a team behind them but having met another UK small cap manager just before Christmas, the very small holdings (of which SNG is for Polar) don’t take too much of their focus. Sure, they’ll have the bat phone to get through to management, but they’ll be given about as much info as the good doctor over at WebMD gets for his interview.
The team here at LSE, Reddit, Twitter etc I can assure you will put more into investigation and research than many a fund would. I’m blown away by some of the things people dig up sometimes!

I have lots of reasons why I think SNG will succeed, but the US backing and wanting to see us succeed is a big one. As is the fact we still haven’t got a fully trialled, Covid specific therapeutic to use. That (I hope) could give us some wiggle room to maybe not even have mind blowing results and still be used.

Wow, what a week it’s been.

I don’t think Polar selling means they know anything. In fact, I bet the fund manager there knows less than some of our esteemed members here on LSE. I’ve met many fund managers over the years.
They still hold nearly 6% (unless they keep offloading) but I suppose it’s mildly disappointing because I don’t want Polygon being the only large II holding SNG. I think it’s better to have a few and definitely wouldn’t want Polygon having too much power and control.

They’ve sold approx 2m shares. There’s been another 9m traded this week and I’m confident that’s not just Mrs Miggins loading up her ISA.

That quite a number of shares Polar have now dumped over the last month. More than a rebalance, to my mind. Oh well, hopefully there loss.

Massive volumes this week… must be 11m and we’ve only had 4 days. Someone must be hoovering them up so yes, I wouldn’t be surprised to see another TR1 on Monday.

I genuinely feel a bit sorry for people who come on to a BB to criticise someone else’s investment decision and make them feel generally bad about their investment choice. Either they’re not a particularly nice person, or they’re probably suffering from some form of depression. No disingenuousness here.

This has been a good week for SNG. A nice tweet from the company, whether it actually indicates anything. And a partnership deal with Ashfield, a major player in the space. And one week nearer to P3 results.

A TR1 after market from a new II will put some added gloss on it.

Thanks Matml74. Although I was more angling for whether we think SNG has them at this very moment? I’m sure they must have… and if so, another positive sign that they’re tweeting and doing deals. If we had failed the IV tests then they’d not be so happy!

Do we think that SNG now have Omicron IV results? I appreciate they might be holding them back for the big P3 reveal… “we’ve passed P3 and we know it’ll work on Omicron, too!”.

If they have got the IV results, then presumably they are positive otherwise again, would you send happy clappy tweets and sign deals?

If you think they haven’t got the IV results yet, then why do you think that is? It’s a 24hr job according to the slides on Gamma.
